Magi 0.2.2 adds working terminal links and file tabs.

  • Cmd-click URLs to open the default browser.
  • Cmd-click existing file paths to open a file tab, including line and column references. Relative paths resolve against the terminal’s actual current directory on Local or Dev-vm.
  • Hold Cmd while hovering to underline available links.
  • Open multiple files and diffs as tabs beside terminals; Cmd-W closes the active file tab.
  • Genral now has a workspace file browser.

Validation: packaged Electron link/tab smoke test, keyboard and split/reordering regressions, 24 backend tests, TypeScript and lint checks, and a disposable dev-vm tmux/file test.

Apple Silicon, macOS 12+. Ad-hoc signed with strict bundle verification; not Developer ID-signed or notarized. macOS may require approval in Privacy & Security on first launch.

Install/update through brew install --cask deepaksilaych/tap/magi or brew update && brew upgrade --cask magi. Workspace data and existing sess sessions are preserved.
