Go to Teams files or onedrive, and find the env file, place the file in the highest level, meaning beside of MiniTwit app (not in the folder). Then rename the env file to .env, so it became a hidden file. then run docker compose up setup, this will setup elastic search.
there after you can run docker compose up in normal.
- configured filebeat.yml to match index patterns: filebeat-elastic-* for kibana/elasticsearch logs filebeat-minitwit-* for all of your Minitwit looging. filebeat-ngix-*
- Implemented dotnet Serilog
- Login to kibana: http://localhost:5601 with user elastic and password from the .env file
- Click on stack management
- click on index management
- click on .monitoring-beats-7-2024.04.06
- click on Discover index
- click on .monitoring-beats-7-2024.04.06 in upper left corner and click on create a data view
Gonna take a lot of CPU power, so stop the container if you are not testing it.
