Interactive Escape and Puzzle Adventure
NEXUS-9 is an interactive escape-room adventure focused on exploration, puzzle solving, and progressive level-based gameplay. Luna, a female Jack Russell Terrier, wakes up in a secret laboratory that has entered emergency mode, and must escape by completing 6 sequential sectors, each unlocked by a key obtained in the previous one.
This repository covers Level 3 only: restoring the facility's server system.
To implement Level 3 ("The Servers") as a single-room, top-down puzzle experience: the player explores the room, finds three cables, deduces their correct order through two combined clues, and restores the server to obtain Key 3 and unlock Level 4.
This level includes:
- Exploration of a single server room.
- Interaction with objects: cables, the reset panel, and the note.
- Reading a short riddle that reveals the correct order (without naming colors).
- Entering a 3-step sequence in the reset panel.
- Feedback for correct and incorrect sequence attempts, with unlimited retries.
- Automatic saving of progress.
- Obtaining Key 3.
- Unlocking Level 4.
The team does not use formal Scrum sprints. Work is organized in Jira as Epics (Environment & Tools, Documentation & Diagrams, Development, Testing & Delivery) containing individual Tasks, each with an assignee and a reviewer. Task status is updated manually (To Do / In Progress / Done) as work progresses over the 5-day project timeline.
The progression system follows a predefined sequence in which completing a level and obtaining its corresponding key allows the player to continue to the next area.

Story: Luna enters a room full of servers. An alarm triggers and the screen shows: "ERROR 404 — CONEXION DEL SERVIDOR INTERRUMPIDA".
Objective: Explore the room, find the 3 cables, deduce the correct connection order, and restore the server.
Find the 3 hidden cables in the room: red, blue, and green. Each cable is labeled with its function: ENERGIA (red), DATOS (blue), SEGURIDAD (green).
Approach the note lying on the floor and open it. It reveals a short riddle that gives the correct order only, without naming colors:
"Primero despierta la chispa que da vida, luego viaja la información escondida, y al final se cierra la puerta protegida."
The player must combine this order (Energy → Data → Security) with the cable name labels from Puzzle 1 to deduce the final sequence.
Correct solution: Red → Blue → Green (Energy → Data → Security).
- If incorrect: red X icon + "SECUENCIA INCORRECTA" message. No attempt limit — the player can retry immediately.
- If correct: green checkmark + "CORRECTO" message (~3 seconds), then the room transitions to the final state.
The server shows *"SISTEMA RESTAURADO", the player receives *Key 3, progress is autosaved, and Level 4 is unlocked.
