Compatibility
Fletcher's Trestle ships optional integrations with several popular utility mods. Each one activates only when that mod is installed — no hard dependencies.
JEI displays custom tabs for the mod-specific mechanics:
- Steaming: Shows which Rough Limbs can be processed in the Steam Box and the time required.
- Shaving: Displays the wood types compatible with the Shaving Horse and Drawknife.
- Fletching: Illustrates the 3-slot assembly process for Modular Bows, Crossbows, and Arrows.
- Dipping: Shows the Dipping Vat potion-arrow recipes.
Pro-Tip: Hover over a component (like a Wood Riser) in JEI and press U (default) to see every modular recipe that component can be used in.
All three "what am I looking at" tooltip mods are supported. Pointing at a Steam Box shows:
- its water tank and current contents (through each mod's built-in fluid/inventory providers), and
- a live status line: Steaming: 42%, Steaming paused — no heat below, Steaming paused — needs water, or Idle.
These integrations are soft dependencies — install whichever you prefer (or none) and everything else works the same.
Because the Steam Box and Dipping Vat expose standard NeoForge capabilities, fluid pipes/pumps and item conduits from tech mods can interact with them directly:
- The Steam Box tank accepts water only; the Dipping Vat accepts water or its own potion fluid.
- Hoppers and item pipes can feed Rough Limbs into the Steam Box.
- A Redstone Comparator reads the Steam Box's water level (0–15).
