08 Collecting price data

• Select the outlet to be surveyed by clicking on the Edit button, the survey screen will be displayed.

• All articles of the selected store are listed on the right, by default on the first article.
• Details are displayed in the center of the screen, including item description, price and quantity of the previous period, the current period is empty.
• The code list for price treatment is located directly below the input fields for price and quantity for the current period. The code list allows employees to explain missing values or select the correct rules for different types of article replacement:

• Employees should also specify whether the current price is a regular or a special offer (radio button for Special Offer: ”Aktion”).
• All records are validated by the app and a warning message can prompt staff to review and/or comment on data (e.g. if the price change is outside the range defined in the monthly imported basket).
• In the left menu bar, the user can switch to secondary data level of the item (product specifications, information about price, notes, comments and questions) or the variety (standard quantity, examples, periodicity, admitted price change etc.). Some information must be filled in the first time a new item is entered.

• Next to the product description you will find the number of items entered vs. required and the button [++] for new items in the active survey position.

• For a new article of a variety that does not yet exist in the current survey, use the [+] button in the menu below the article list, which opens the complete basket of goods and services.

• The same menu offers beside the navigation buttons (forward/backward in the item list) also an order button (up/down-arrows):

• You can change the sequence using Drag&Drop (orientation icon to the right of the element), see on the left.
• You can also change the sequence by assigning a sequence of numbers (1 corresponds to the starting point for all following numbered elements), see on the right.

• Note: The storage time is used for next month's item order (but not displayed in the current month). Since this hidden order automatism does not seem to suit all users, we will probably implement manual order as standard in the future.
