Macro Compendium

The Macro Compendium (registered as macro-compendium) holds script macros that automate common Fantastic Depths tasks. They are grouped in two top-level folders: GM_Only and Misc.

Using Macros

  • Open the Macro Compendium from the Compendium sidebar.
  • Drag a macro onto your hotbar to add it, then click the hotbar slot to run it.
  • You can also drag the macro onto a token (to make it a token macro) or onto a folder.
  • GM macros show a warning and refuse to run for non-GM users where a GM check is built in; others simply require GM permissions through Foundry's normal ownership.

GM_Only

Tools and utilities intended for the GM.

Player / Turn Trackers

Macro What it does
Open Party Tracker Opens (or closes) the FaDe Party Tracker window — hit points, condition and XP management for the whole party. GM only.
Open Turn Tracker Opens (or closes) the FaDe Turn Tracker window for tracking turn-by-turn time and light burn-down. GM only.

Combat Helpers

Macro What it does
Roll Table Helper Opens the roll-table dialog for rolling combat/encounter/treasure tables by name.
Shove Resist Calculator Opens the Shove Resistance dialog (from the shove rules system) to resolve shove vs. resist contests.
Wrestling Contest Opens the Wrestling contest dialog (from the wrestling rules system) to resolve wrestling contests.

Multi-Class Fixes

Utility macros for the single-class rules system. They were used to repair spell/class references and can be re-run if data gets out of sync.

Macro What it does
Fix Actor Class Key Re-applies the class key to every character actor in the world (single-class system).
Fix Pack Spell Class Rebuilds the classes reference on every spell in your Item compendiums by matching spell tags to class item names.
Fix World Actor Spell Class Same as above, but fixes spells on actors already in your world.

Treasure Type Macros

These generate D&D Rules Cyclopedia treasure types using the FaDe fadeTreasure engine, rolling coin amounts, gems, jewelry, and linked magic-item tables all at once.

  • Carried: Treasure Types P, Q, R, S, T, U, V
  • Lair: Treasure Types A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O

Each macro posts the result to chat. Lair types additionally roll the appropriate magic-item sub-tables (e.g. Special Treasure Table, Magical Items (Basic), Potions, Scrolls).

Utility

Macro What it does
Character XP Needed Shows how much XP each character needs to reach their next level (uses the class system's getXpNeeded).
Class Clear Prompts for an actor name and class name, then clears the actor's cached class data (clearClassData).
Import All Compendiums Runs the FaDe data migrator's importCompendiums() to import/refresh compendium content.
Set Folder Permission Dialog to recursively set a permission level (None/Limited/Observer/Owner) on an Actor or Item folder and everything inside it.
Set Monster Darkvision Gives every monster actor in the world 60 ft darkvision on its prototype token.
Set Prototype Token HP Display Mode Sets all actors' prototype tokens to use HP as bar 1 and picks a name/HP bar display mode.
Set Token Display Mode Sets HP bar display mode for tokens already on the canvas — filtered by all / friendly / hostile / selected.

Misc

Player-facing shortcuts that open FaDe's dialogs or run setup helpers.

Combat & Actions

Macro What it does
Attack Opens the attack dialog to pick a weapon/attack and roll it against a selected token.
Attack Equipped Same as Attack, but only lists weapons the actor currently has equipped.
Cast Spell Opens the spell dialog to pick and cast one of the selected actor's spells.
Roll Special Ability Opens the special-ability roll dialog (saves, skills, and abilities with roll formulas).

Macro Method
Roll Ability Scores 3d6 Straight 3d6 per ability.
Roll Ability Scores 4d6kh 4d6, keep the highest 3.
Roll Ability Scores 2x3d6kh Best of two 3d6 rolls per ability.
