What is Prism?

Prism is a powerful streaming addon for Kodi. It allows you to stream anything from various sources.

How do I install Prism?

How do I update Prism?

How do I configure my simkl watchlists?

You can configure your simkl watchlists by going to the addon settings in the accounts catagory

How do I install a new provider?

In the settings menu of Prism you will find a Providers tab. Inside this tab you will find the Manage Provider Packages option, which lets you install a new provider package. See the Custom Providers page for more detail.

How do I manage my providers?

Within Prism's settings, open the Providers tab and choose Manage Provider Packages. From there you can enable/disable individual providers inside a package, enable/disable entire provider packages, install or uninstall packages, and toggle automatic provider updates. You can also manually run Check For Updates for your installed packages.

Why is Prism not scraping any sources?

Ensure that your internet connection is stable and that the providers you have are installed in the settings.

Why is my watchlist not updating?

Reauthorize your simkl watchlist in the addon settings and ensure that the watchlist update settings are configured correctly.

Prism won't show me season or episode lists and instead begins playing automatically?

This is controlled by your playback settings. In Settings > Playback, set the Movie Play Style and Episode Play Style to Source Select if you'd like to choose a source instead of having one auto-play. To stop Prism from jumping straight into the next unwatched episode, disable Auto Resume Shows from Next Unwatched Episode under Playback > Resume.

My settings or data seem corrupted or reset. What do I do?

Open the Tools menu (or Settings > Shortcuts) and try Rebuild Database, which fixes most issues. If problems persist, you can use Wipe Addon Data to reset Prism to a clean state (note this clears your local data and you'll need to re-authorize your accounts). Can i use Prism to illegally view copyrighted material?

I will not, and nor will I condone the use of Prism or any custom providers to view illegal copyright content. No assistance will be given to any user that I identify to be using Prism for illegal purposes. Please respect copyrighted work and any laws applicable to yourself whilst using Prism.
