Facets of climate change[1][2][3][4]:

  • Global warming
  • Rising sea levels
  • Extreme weather events like
  • Droughts and Heat waves
  • Floods
  • Hurricanes
  • Decreasing biodiversity species lose their habitats like polar bears :(
  • Ocean acidification killing corals etc
  • Forests are more prone to deadly infestations

What can be done about climate change[5]:

  • Be aware of emissions
  • Drive and fly less
  • Reduce electricity use
  • Eat less meat lol
  • Shop at local fruit and vegetable market
  • Reduce, reuse, recycle
  • Plant trees
  • Conserve water
  • Pick up rubbish

Additionally From NASA[6]:

  • Involves multiple dimensions science, economics, society, politics and moral and ethical
  • Two approaches: mitigation, adaption
  • Mitigation - taking action to make changes
  • Reducing the flow of heat-trapping greenhouse gasses[7]

Adaption - adjusting to actual/expected future climate change
