Color Mapping

The skin editor recolors skin parts by replacing fixed placeholder colors in the part's image with the colors of a color palette. Use these exact colors when you paint a custom skin part that should be recolorable.

Base colors

Replaced by the palette's base colors, in this order. Usually from light to dark.

6 #64456e
7 #513859
8 #422d4a
9 #312138
10 #231729

Alternative colors

Replaced by the palette's alternative colors, in this order. Use them for a second color on the same part, e.g. the trim of a jacket.

Special colors

These placeholders take a color from another layer, e.g. eyebrows on an eyes part that match the hair color. They only work if the other layer's palette has enough base colors.
