Besides the built-in packs (Basic, Medieval, Modern) you can upload your own skin parts, for example clothes in your server's style or items only for VIPs.
- Dashboard → Custom packs → create a pack with a name (unique within your tenant) and an optional description.
- Add skin parts (see below).
- Enable the pack on your servers: Servers → your server → Skins & packs → Skin packs. Players only see packs that are enabled on their server.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Display name | Name of the part in the editor |
| Layer | Where the part goes, see the list below |
| Models | Classic (Steve, 4 px arms) and/or Slim (Alex, 3 px arms). Upload one image for each selected model. Parts that don't touch the arms can use the same image for both. |
| Images | PNG, exactly 64×64 pixels, at most 1 MB, in the normal Minecraft skin layout. Everything that doesn't belong to the part must be transparent. |
| Enabled | Disabled parts can't be chosen in the editor anymore |
| Required permissions | Optional. The player needs all listed permissions to see the part, e.g. myserver.vip. Leave it empty to make the part available to everyone. See Permissions. |
| Color palette | Optional, lets players recolor the part, see below |
Body, Eyes, Beard, Hairstyle, Hat, Top, Shoulders, Hands, Pants, Shoes, Details
The player chooses one part per layer.
A part can be recolored by the editor: pixels painted in fixed placeholder colors are replaced with the colors of a palette.
- Paint the recolorable areas of your image with the placeholder colors from Color Mapping: up to 10 shades for the main color and up to 10 for a second color.
- In the skin part, enable Color palette, give it a name and enter the base colors (they replace the main placeholder shades, in the same order) and optionally the alternative colors (they replace the second-color shades). Format
#RRGGBBor#RRGGBBAA.
Color palettes are available for all layers except Beard; beards use the hair color.
If you delete or change a part that players use in their skins, the Dashboard asks what to do with these skins:
- Delete the affected skins, or
- Convert them to static skins: they keep their current look but can no longer be edited part by part.
