Main Game

You can think of ArtistQuest as a Point&Click adventure game, like The Secret of Monkey Island, for example. But instead of using your mouse, you control the main character directly with your keyboard. To examine and manipulate Objects, you need to get closer to them with your character until the Object turns a bit more yellow-ish. Then you can hit Enter to bring up a menu full of things you can do with the Object.

Navigate the Menu with the Up and Down arrows and hit Enter to carry out the selected thing. Pressing Right Shift will close the Menu again.

When you picked up Items, you can open the Inventory by hitting Space.

Pressing Right Shift will examine the item in the Inventory. When you are in range of an Object, you can hit Enter to use the item with the Object. This also works when you have the manipulation-menu of an Object opened. Pressing Space again will close the Inventory.

With these simple tools you can explore the world of ArtistQuest, solve many puzzles and overcome all the challenges! Hopefully.

Here, you can save and load your game any time. You can even load a Autosave, that is automatically created whenever you change rooms!
