Fabrication information for OF-IN-MCH

The OF-IN-MCH is an insert for holding a mirror or dichroic cube holder within some openFrame layers, typically an OF-LL-65 or OF-LL-80.

If mounting a dichroic, the base design takes either a Thorlabs CM1-DCH/M or a holder for Cairn filter cubes. If you wish to use a different holder for dichroics, then soem modification of the OF-IN-MCH will be required.

If you are mounting a mirror, then an OF-AD-MCH-M45 can be attached to the OF-IN-MCH, and will allow the attachment of a 45-degree mirror prism. The design of the OF-AD-MCH-M45 is based on an Edmund Optics #89-632 right angle turning mirror, but can be adapted as required.
