The OF-LL-CORE layer is 72mm high (not including the dovetail), with two SM2 outer diameter ports, and two new-style openFrame apertures. It has one internal face parallel to an openFrame aperture milled out in order to allow for the referencing of mechanisms such as z-actuators to an interior flat if desired.
The new-style openFrame apertures have inner dimensions of 56mm x 54.5mm and outer dimensions of 76.5mm x 56.5mm, with hole centre separations of 70mm and 15mm.
The old-style openFrame apertures have inner dimensions of 60mm x 52.5mm and outer dimensions of 80mm x 54mm, with hole centre separations of 65mm and 20mm.
The new-style apertures are also modified by the replacement of the lower magnet-holding recesses with 6mm diameter through holes. These through holes allow for the use of 6mm optical rails or similar as part of a sliding mechanism if desired.
