2.0.0
PluginBlueprint 2.0 builds plugins for Paper 26.3 on Java 25. It's the first release since 1.2.4 and adds commands, config files, and checks that explain problems before you build.
New in 2.0
- Paper 26.3 and Java 25. New projects target Paper. The app uses a JDK 25 it finds on your system or offers to download one, then sets up the Paper test server for you.
- Commands. A Command node per command, with typed arguments, aliases, a permission, a permission message and a players-only option.
- Config files. A Config tab in Project Information, a
config.ymlin your plugin, and "Config value" and "Reload config" nodes. - Problems before you build. The editor checks your graph before every build and lists problems in plain language, with a badge on each affected node. If Java still fails, the error names the node it came from.
- Editor. A toolbar with Save, Build & Reload, Test and Stop. Also autosave, Find (⌘F / Ctrl+F), undo for node moves, Note nodes, and working menus on macOS.
- More nodes. Constants such as
SoundandNamedTextColorvalues, event priority and "ignore cancelled", and a "Cancel event" node. - More plugin.yml fields.
permissions, depend, loadbefore, libraries, website, authorsandprefix. - Documentation. A new wiki with a getting-started guide, five example plugins, and pages on commands, config and fixing problems.
Upgrading from 1.x
- When you open a Spigot project, the app offers to switch it to Paper. Nodes for methods that no longer exist in Paper 26.3 load as placeholders, and the build skips them. Run Check for problems (⌘⇧K / Ctrl+Shift+K) after the switch.
- Builds now compile every
.javafile in your project'ssrc/folder and pack everything inresources/into the jar. - The Debug option no longer needs a separate build. The test server turns debug output on when the option is checked.
- The app no longer sends any analytics or crash reports. It checks GitHub Releases for updates.
