Codex Script Loader 0.6.0

本版改进更新体验、Codex 生命周期恢复和通用插件兼容性。它从稳定维护线发布，不包含此前实验分支的账号路由、provider 注入或共享历史迁移。

改进与修复

  • 重做更新卡片：检查中、已是最新、下载进度、失败原因和上次检查时间均有明确反馈；插件检查完成后保留结果提示。
  • 新增安装包更新路径：下载并校验后，用户再次确认才会正常关闭 Codex 和 Loader、打开安装向导；此路径不强制结束进程。
  • 恢复普通退出与 Store 更新的区分：包进程结束后退出 Loader；更新期间等待包注册，重连继承的受管端口或启动新版包。观察应用内更新请求，恢复失败时保留诊断状态。
  • 简化插件管理布局，恢复作者、来源与版本信息，将运行诊断折叠展示。
  • 修复新版输入框的会话身份识别与提交回执处理；支持显式安装插件预发布版本，自动发现仍仅使用稳定版。
  • 改善插件目录被占用时的替换、回滚与中断恢复，并保留权限增加和本地修改的确认步骤。

升级与验证

标准安装可使用兼容的在线宿主更新；如果旧宿主要求安装器，请退出 Codex 与 Loader 后运行对应架构的安装包。新增的“退出并安装”能力需要先运行支持它的宿主。插件、配置和已有历史不会被迁移到实验账号系统。

本地通过静态检查、165 项 Node 测试、382 项原生检查、Release 构建及 x64 包校验。更新页面已热加载并验证检查反馈。真实关闭应用、安装交接和 Store 升级重连仍需实际环境验收；自动化测试使用模拟安装器，不代表已经执行了真实升级。

提供 Windows x64、Arm64 安装器和便携 ZIP，以及各自的 SHA-256 文件。二进制未进行 Authenticode 签名。

This release improves update feedback, Codex lifecycle recovery and generic plugin compatibility. It follows the stable maintenance line and does not include the experimental account router, provider injection or shared-history migration.

Improvements and fixes

  • The update card reports checking, up-to-date, progress, errors and the last check time. Plugin checks retain their result instead of silently clearing it.
  • Installer updates download and verify first. A separate confirmation then requests a normal Codex/Loader shutdown and opens setup, without force-killing processes.
  • Ordinary process exit is distinguished from Store updates. Loader waits for package registration, reconnects to an inherited managed port or launches the updated package, and retains diagnostics if recovery fails.
  • Plugin management shows author, source and version with collapsible diagnostics.
  • Composer identity and submission receipts work across the newer native layout. Explicit prerelease plugin installation is supported; automatic discovery remains stable-only.
  • Plugin replacement, rollback and interrupted-update recovery handle held-open directories while preserving permission and local-change confirmations.

Upgrade and validation

Standard installations can use compatible online host updates. If an older host requires an installer, close Codex and Loader and run the matching setup package. The new confirmed installer workflow requires a host that supports it.

Local validation passed static checks, 165 Node tests, 382 native checks, Release build and x64 package verification. The update page and check feedback were tested live. Real shutdown/setup handoff and Store-update reconnection remain environment-specific acceptance checks; automated installer tests use a fake launch callback.

Assets include Windows x64/Arm64 setup executables and portable ZIPs with SHA-256 files. Binaries are not Authenticode-signed.

0.5.17 — Codex 26.1021 startup compatibility

This is a maintenance release for Codex Desktop 26.1021. It intentionally contains no 0.6.0 account-switching features.

Fixes

  • Extend the managed Codex startup wait from 20 seconds to 120 seconds. Codex 26.1021 can perform a slower first start after a Microsoft Store update.
  • Report the Loader host as ready to the launcher before CDP injection finishes, so the launcher does not show a false startup failure while Codex is still starting.

Scope

  • No account routing, shared history, model aggregation, sidebar changes, or account UI are included.
  • Existing 0.5.x settings, plugin, update, and launcher protocols remain unchanged.

Verification

  • Windows Release build and CodexScriptLoader.Tests pass.
  • Package verification covers the x64 installer, portable ZIP, SBOM, and checksums.

Codex Script Loader 0.5.15

恢复新版 Codex 中点击 Loader 或插件设置入口后页面不切换的问题，并适配左侧独立导航栏。

兼容性

支持并实际验证的 Codex 版本：26.924.1866.0（Windows）。 其他 Codex 版本、macOS 和 Arm64 未在本轮进行运行验证。通用插件包接口、权限和用户配置不变。

修复

  • 定位新版主内容区域，避免将导航旁的背景节点误认为设置内容。
  • 识别分离的页面标题、正文和滚动容器，恢复 Loader 以及通过通用接口注册的插件设置页。
  • 使用当前原生设置高亮样式；显示插件页面时不再同时高亮“常规”等原生页面。
  • 在应用语言就绪后更新 Loader 导航标题，避免中文界面残留英文 Settings。

升级与验证

标准安装可在本版本发布后通过 Loader 更新功能升级；也可退出 Codex 后运行 CodexScriptLoader-0.5.15-windows-x64-setup.exe，或使用同版便携 ZIP。插件及配置保留。本地安装包未进行 Authenticode 签名。

已验收的 renderer 候选通过原位热加载；实际检查覆盖通用设置页挂载、滚动、选中高亮、返回原生页面及无重复节点。Node 静态检查与 148 项测试、Windows Release 构建、284 项原生测试、x64 包验证及 287 个载荷文件的可复现构建检查均通过。本轮未运行需要关闭 Codex 的 Activation Probe，也未在已有正式安装的机器上运行安装/卸载测试。

This patch restores Loader and plugin settings pages after the Codex layout update, including the separate navigation rail.

Compatibility

Supported and verified Codex version: 26.924.1866.0 on Windows. Other Codex versions, macOS, and Arm64 were not runtime-tested in this round. The generic plugin package interface, permissions, and user configuration are unchanged.

Fixed

  • Locate the actual main content area instead of selecting a background sibling beside navigation.
  • Recognize separate title, body, and scroll containers so registered settings pages mount correctly.
  • Highlight the selected plugin page without leaving the native General page highlighted.
  • Resolve the Loader navigation title after the app language is available.

Upgrading and validation

After publication, use Loader updates or exit Codex and install CodexScriptLoader-0.5.15-windows-x64-setup.exe; a matching portable ZIP is also provided. Installed plugins and configuration are preserved. Local binaries are not Authenticode-signed.

The accepted renderer candidate was hot-loaded and checked for settings mounting, scrolling, selection, native navigation, and duplicate nodes. Node syntax checks and 148 tests, the Windows Release build, 284 native tests, x64 package verification, and reproducibility checks for 287 payload files all pass. Activation Probe and installation/uninstallation testing were not run against the active installed app.

Codex Script Loader 0.5.14

修复 Loader 启动正常、使用一段时间后状态请求无响应及插件设置入口消失的问题，增强短暂断连后的自动恢复。

修复与改进

  • 连接恢复：持续检查桥接会话和页面中的桥接客户端。即使 renderer target ID 不变，也会重连已失效的会话，并记录重连结果。
  • 监控稳定性：HTTP、WebSocket 和命令超时后继续重试；当 Codex 页面仍可达时，不再将单独的桥接故障当成 Codex 退出。
  • 并发消息：串行发送共享 CDP WebSocket 上的消息，避免状态回复、传输事件和健康检查同时发送。
  • 设置入口保留：获取插件列表失败时保留上次成功的列表；连接恢复后重新同步，避免短暂断连让插件设置入口消失。
  • Store 更新检测：Codex 不可达后保留 90 秒检测窗口，为延迟注册的新 Store 包留出恢复时间。

升级与验证

本次包含原生宿主修复，仅热重载插件脚本不足以更新。控制连接仍正常的标准安装可使用 Loader 更新功能；连接已失效时，请退出 Codex 和 Loader，运行匹配系统架构的安装器。已安装插件和配置保留，通用插件接口与启动器接管协议不变。

提供 Windows x64、Arm64 安装器与便携 ZIP，以及各包的 .sha256 校验文件。发布二进制未进行 Authenticode 签名。关闭 Codex 后，Loader 可能继续等待最多 90 秒以检测 Store 更新；需要立即结束时可使用诊断窗口的“Exit Loader”。

回归测试覆盖同一页面的桥接断开与重连、桥接客户端丢失、目标查询超时后继续监控，以及断连期间保留插件设置列表。

This release improves recovery when Loader starts normally but later stops answering status requests and plugin settings entries disappear.

Fixed and improved

  • Check both the bridge session and its renderer client, reconnect stale sessions even when the renderer target ID is unchanged, and log reconnections.
  • Keep monitoring after transient HTTP, WebSocket, and command timeouts. A bridge failure alone no longer counts as Codex exiting while its page remains reachable.
  • Serialize sends on shared CDP WebSockets so replies, transport events, and health checks do not send concurrently.
  • Preserve the last successful plugin list during a temporary bridge failure, then reconcile settings entries when the connection recovers.
  • Allow a 90-second detection window after Codex becomes unreachable so delayed Store package registration can be detected.

Upgrading and validation

These fixes include native host changes; reloading plugin scripts alone is insufficient. Standard installations with a working control connection can use Loader updates. If the connection has already failed, exit Codex and Loader and run the installer for your Windows architecture. Installed plugins and configuration are preserved; the generic plugin interface and launcher handoff protocol are unchanged.

Windows x64 and Arm64 installers and portable ZIPs include separate .sha256 files. Release binaries are not Authenticode-signed. After Codex closes, Loader may wait up to 90 seconds while checking for a Store update; use Exit Loader in the diagnostics window to exit immediately.

Regression coverage includes same-target bridge reconnection, missing renderer bridge clients, monitoring after target-query timeouts, and preserving plugin settings entries during disconnection.

This release restores Loader startup after Codex registers a second package application entry. The Loader explicitly selects Codex's desktop App entry and no longer treats the package as ambiguous. The diagnostics window also provides an Exit Loader button. These remain generic Loader capabilities; no third-party plugin is bundled or automatically installed.
