Backup Audio Files

WestBroadcast Streamer includes a backup audio file directory with an upload server.
This allows you to remotely upload a backup audio file to the host computer (in the "backup-audio-files" subfolder of the decoder).

A backup audio file is useful in case the Internet connection at the location where your decoder is located fails.
Supported file formats are: .mp3, .wav, .ogg, .aac, .flac, and .m4a.

You can also create a playlist with multiple files uploaded to the server if you want to play more than just one on repeat.

Once you've uploaded a file, you can configure one of your sources to play it.

Select "Backup Audio Files" as the source type, then "Single File (Loop)" as the mode.
Then specify the file you want to play.

If you'd rather set up your source to play a playlist, simply select "Playlist" instead of "Single File (Loop)" as the mode.
Then select the playlist, which you created earlier in the manager, that you want to play.
