This section allows you to configure access to the webserver and other related features.

WestBroadcast Streamer allows you to use two accounts to log in to the interface.
The first, which is essential, is the Administrator account, which provides full access to all settings.

The second is the Operator account, which provides access only to source configuration.
This account is disabled by default. You can enable it if, for example, you want a station engineer to have limited access to the interface to modify a source.

If you do not need this account, it is recommended that you leave it disabled. You can enable additional features for the Operator account as desired.

It is strongly recommended that you do not keep the default credentials. Change them from the first use to prevent any unauthorized access.

Option Description
Instance Name Optional but useful, especially if you're running multiple instances on the same machine.
This name will appear in the header of the main page, in the tab name in your web browser, and in the subject lines of alert emails (if enabled).
HTTP Port By default, port 8090 is used to access the web interface. You can change this as needed.
The decoder will restart once the change is made and will redirect you to the new port.
Hide VU meters, instance name and "Now Playing" status when logged out By default, this information is displayed even if you are not logged in.
For privacy reasons, you may want to hide this information.

If you check this box, it will only be displayed if you are logged in as Administrator or Operator.

Note: The instance name is also hidden in the tab name when you are not logged in.
Enable the Peak Hold function on the VU meters Displays white markers that indicate the maximum dB level reached by the sources over a certain period of time (which you can configure by changing the “Peak Hold Time” value).

By default, this option is disabled.
Enable CPU / RAM monitoring on the host machine Allows you to monitor the host machine's CPU and RAM usage.
The indicators appear in the upper-right corner of the interface and are updated every 10 seconds.
Administrator Account Allows you to change the username and password for the account with administrator privileges.
Operator Account Allows you to change the username and password for the account with operator privileges.
Below these fields, you can enable or disable optional access to features for this account.

Be sure to check the “Enabled:” box if you want to activate this account.
