Building from source

You need JDK 25, which Gradle downloads when it's missing, and Bun for the admin panel.

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/MairwunNx/minecraft-worldapi
   cd minecraft-worldapi

2. Build it. This runs the tests too:

   ./gradlew build

3. Take the jar from build/libs/.

./gradlew build -PskipPanel builds without the panel, for when Bun isn't around; /admin then says the panel is missing.

Local builds are versioned dev; CI builds carry the commit, like dev-1a2b3c4. Only the “Release” workflow sets a real version (see Releasing).
