debug: true in config.yml logs spawns, levels, abilities, and loot.
A boss takes the average level of the players near it, so it follows your players. To shift every boss, change formula.health and formula.damage in config.yml; to make strong classes rarer, lower their chance in classes.yml. ./gradlew balance prints the curves before you commit to them.
Loot needs about 28% of the boss’s health from you, less in a group. The chat tells you after each kill why you got less (broadcast.kill_notes). Pets count as you; fire counts for whoever lit it.
Not well. Each player waits for the next boss, three bosses nearby stop more from spawning, and spawner bosses killed in one spot give less over time (spawner_fatigue). Bosses far below a player’s level give them little experience and no kill.
No. Bosses keep their type, class, level, cooldowns, and who hit them on the entity itself. Reward and spawn cooldowns live on each player. Temporary blocks, like cobwebs, go back even after a crash.
They can pick their own with /mobosses language. Players behind a proxy or a relay show up with its address, so the plugin picks the relay’s country. See Languages.
Install CoreProtect and run /co rollback u:#mobosses t:1h r:50 near the spot. See Claims and protection.
Only in loaded chunks. A boss in an unloaded chunk stays in the world: the server doesn’t know it until its chunk loads. One left alone long enough leaves as its chunk loads, as vanilla mobs do.
In the issues, with the log lines around it and your Mo’Bosses and Paper versions.
