PlaceholderAPI

With PlaceholderAPI installed, join and quit lines can show any of its placeholders.

1. Install PlaceholderAPI and the expansions you want, like LuckPerms’.

2. Restart the server. The log says “PlaceholderAPI found: papi:… tags work in messages”.

3. Write <papi:name> in a message to show %name% for the player who joined or left:

   join: "<papi:luckperms_prefix><player> <gray>joined</gray>"

4. Run /mojoins reload.

Mo’Joins doesn’t look for %…% in your text, so a percent sign stays a percent sign. Colors from the placeholder’s output carry over. Without PlaceholderAPI the tags show nothing.
