Mane Tools for Unity UI

Controls and extensions for Unity UI (uGUI). Namespace Mane.Unity.UI (runtime) and Mane.Unity.UI.Editor (editor).

Supported from Unity 6.0.81 (6000.0.81f1). Depends on ManeTools-Unity (and thus ManeTools-dotNET) plus TextMesh Pro / uGUI.

Add components from Add Component → Mane Tools → UI.

Related packages: ManeTools-Unity, ManeTools-dotNET.

Pages

  • Color Scheme — palette asset, controller, inspector slot rows, AnimateTo
  • ThreeStatesToggle — bool? State, extra graphics, context-menu prefab
  • MaxTMProSize — LayoutElement cap (0 = unlimited)
  • Scroll and Layout — SnapTo / SnapXTo / SnapYTo, ManeUIBehaviour, RectTransformChangedCatcher
  • Editor Tools — UICanvasTools for custom menus; reusable UINavigationControl / NavigationModeField

Runtime and editor for the same feature are documented together. Drawers are inspector behavior, not extra public runtime API.

Color Scheme inspector lives here, not in ManeTools-Unity.

Installation

I recommend installing this package with the OpenUPM CLI. If you cannot use OpenUPM, download the package and place it anywhere in your Unity project.

  1. Install OpenUPM if needed: npm install -g openupm-cli.
  2. In the Unity project folder: openupm add com.manefunction.tools-unity-ui.
  3. Switch back to Unity and wait for the import to finish.

Package id: com.manefunction.tools-unity-ui.

Why Preview?

The code is not new, but splitting one package into several — plus UI Toolkit inspector work — is a great way to invent fresh bugs. Use at your own risk.
