Subcutaneous administration in MoBi and export workflow to PK-Sim #1943
Replies: 1 comment
You cannot re-export any structural changes from MoBi to PK-Sim, so you have to stay in MoBi.
I am not sure I fully understand the question. Once integrated into the structure, the sc compartment and the administration will be available for all simulations created from these building blocks. Or, you could implement the sc compartment and the relevant reactions as an extension module and apply it to any model exported from PK-Sim or created in MoBi. If you want to learn more about the modularization concept introduced in version 12 of the OSP software, you can find some courses at the ESQlabs learning platfrom or visit one of the upcoming hands-on workshops (the next one will be at PAGE). |

I'm currently working on a subcutaneous administration model in MoBi and would like to share my approach as well as ask a couple of questions regarding workflow and model reuse.
Based on the pregnancy model shared by Pavel Balazki here on GitHub, I created a new compartment in MoBi and included formulas for plasma volume and other physiological parameters relevant to subcutaneous administration.
At this point, I have two main questions:
Is it possible to export this newly created subcutaneous compartment from MoBi to PK-Sim? Or is it more appropriate to continue working directly in MoBi after making these structural modifications?
If I continue working in MoBi, will I need to recreate the subcutaneous compartment manually for each new simulation? Or is there a way to reuse or automate this setup across multiple MoBi projects?
Any suggestions, experiences, or resources would be greatly appreciated!
Best regards,
