Mod Not Appearing in the In-Game Mods List

• Verify the Mods Folder: Ensure you placed the downloaded .zip file in the correct location: Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator25/mods
• Do Not Extract: The game requires the mod to be in the original .zip format. Do not extract the contents of the file.
• Check for Duplicates: Ensure you don't have multiple versions (e.g., old and new) of the mod in your folder.

Game Crashes on Startup or When Loading a Save

• Check the Log File: Navigate to your main Farming Simulator 25 game folder and open log.txt. Look for any error messages related to FS25_NPCFavor or similar.
• Test a Clean Save: Start a brand new savegame with only this mod enabled. If it works, the issue may be a conflict with another mod in your existing save.
• Conflict Check: Temporarily remove other recently added mods to see if the crash stops. Re-add them one by one to identify the conflict.

Favor Doesn't Seem to Be Changing

• Be Patient: The system is designed for slow, gradual change. You likely won't see a level shift after a single action.
• Consistency is Key: The most significant changes come from repeated behavior over time (e.g., consistently completing contracts vs. consistently causing traffic issues).
• Check Your Level: If you've been playing for a long time, you may already be at a high or low "plateau" where changes become less frequent.
