Coordinates
This feature was mostly added for use alongside Zipliner so people could check the height of ziplines by physically going somewhere nearby and determine if the facility is above or below the map. Aside from this, there isn't really a usecase for this other than making extremely coordinate precise placements for proper sharing ability.
Note: SKPORT (and other unofficial map sites that make use of the API) have a live location tracker that tracks the player coordinates but it tends to be laggy and sometimes doesn't work. This feature is a workaround for that.
Just like the toggle menu, the Coordinate display bar can also be moved to a more convenient location on screen.
