Patterson Howell Log
September 4: I met with the team this week to discuss project suggestions. I caught up on details from the extra meeting on Friday. I started a personal log as well.
September 11: I completed persona for Susan Gregory, a recently retired middle school teacher who is making a return to the classroom. I met with the team about users of the application and what desired capabilities are needed.
September 19: I sketched ideas of design for the application. I implemented ideas to help follow best practices in styling elements/schemes for final design.
September 26: I designed the Sign In and Register pages for the application continuing the proper styling throughout the design. These pages ask a user to enter their information in order to begin use of the application or create an account if they are new.
October 4: I determined with others in agreement that "manual mode" was where our energy is best focused at this time which shifted requirements.
Patterson Demo October 8-10: I finished implementing research milestone, learned a lot about time type libraries in Angular and push notification API's, helping determine some of the PoC's
October 17: I worked on updating the Architecture wiki and collaborated with the team to gain a better understanding of our project structure gaol
October 24: Pulled from the repo, built locally, created personal branch, edited code, resolved merge conflict, and pushed to main repo.
October 31: Discussed ethical issues with group
November 7: Working on timer implementation once log in is completed
November 14: Working on timer implementation
November 21: Working on integrating timer with other program features/database
November 28: I fixed timer notify/done issues, implemented a cancel feature button, created temporary alert notifications, integrated it with other components (in progress)
December 3: Demo video
January 15: Met with team to begin new semester and discuss new features to implement
