ShakeIt V3 Bass Shakers Audio Output Configuration
ShakeIt allows you to use any audio outputs required, up to 8 channels each, these outputs (sound cards) must be dedicated to bass shakers to avoid any conflics between regular sound and generated frequencies.
In the Shake It plugin go on "sound output" and enable the sound cards used for your transducters :
When enabled the number of channels effectively configured on the sound card will show :
If this number does not fit your needs you must configure it in windows audio settings and/or your sound card drivers.
A direct shortcut to windows audio settings is available in shakeit
For each sound card you must choose which audio mode you will use:
There are 4 channels mode available :
- Mono : left and right will be fed with all the effects,
- Perfect for a single shaker configuration or a non "left/right" basic setup
- Stereo : all effects will be spread to left and/or right depending of the effect
- This is the basic configuration for a basic 2 channels setup spread left and right of your rig.
- 4 Channels : all effects will be spread to the 4 corners of the rig using 4 channels
- Note : Depending of the game and provided telemetry some effects may not be located perfectly on each corner, this is a limitation of the games.
- Custom channel map : allows you to configure effect per effect, location per location which channel must be used
- Ideal for any other setup, combinations are virtually infinite
Simply enable or disable each effect on the wanted channel :
You can balance each effect on each channel by enabling "Show per effect gain":
