Configure SQL Agent Properties

FineBuild can Configure the Properties available in SSMS for the SQL Server Agent.
The operation of the SQL Agent is controlled by a number of properties. Some of these need to be set to obtain maximum performance and stability. The propertiies available on each of the Tabs on the SSMS Agent Properties dialogue are dealt with separately.

In order to maintain compatibility with older versions of SQL FineBuild, the parameter ConfigSQLAgent can also be used.
FineBuild will automatically perform SQL Agent Properties configuration for each of the Items given above.
The following steps show what you would have to do for manual SQL Agent Properties configuration. FineBuild does all of this work for you automatically.

Use SQL Server Management Studio to connect to the SQL instance
Right-click on the SQL Agent and select Properties

Perform SQL Agent Properties configuration for each of the tabs given above
