FAQ
Does Plateful work on servers? Yes. Install it on the server and on every player's game.
Can I turn off spoilage or the repeat penalty?
Yes, per world with /gamerule plateful:food_spoilage false or /gamerule plateful:diminishing_returns false, or for
all new worlds in config/plateful.json. See Configuration.
My rice won't plant. Rice needs still water exactly one block deep over dirt, grass, mud, clay or farmland, with no water above it. Aim at the block under the water. See Crops.
My rice stopped growing halfway. It needs an empty block above the water to grow its top half. Clear the space above it.
Why won't my food stack? With Food Spoilage on, food picked up on different in-game days has different dates and doesn't stack.
Why does my food restore less than the Foods page says? Either you ate it recently (Diminishing Returns) or it is stale or spoiling (Food Spoilage). The Food Journal shows what a food will restore next time.
Where do I find seeds? In abandoned mineshaft and plains village house chests. See Crops.
Which jar do I download?
plateful-fabric-... for Fabric (plus Fabric API) or plateful-neoforge-... for NeoForge. See Getting Started.
