An arcane brazier is a block that can remove enchantments from items and filters enchantments from nearby enchanting tables.
Arcane braziers can be crafted using 4 Iron Nuggets, a Blaze Powder, 2 Iron Ingots, a Coal, and an Obsidian.
Using any enchanted book except for curses⁽¹⁾ on an arcane brazier consumes the book, and stores the book's first enchantment within the brazier, replacing any enchantment previously stored. This charges the arcane brazier, changing the flame from orange to green and purple.
A charged arcane brazier can remove its stored enchantment from any enchanted item except Enchanted Inkwells⁽²⁾ used on it. The resulting item is also damaged by 5%⁽³⁾ of its maximum durability.
If an enchanting table is placed near an arcane brazier, the table's enchantment pools will be filtered, preventing the arcane brazier's stored enchantment from appearing among the available enchantments. The enchanting table's power is also reduced by 3. Burning glyph particles fly from the enchanting table toward the arcane brazier to indicate the connection.
