1. First launch

Nothing to set up — no account, no sign-up. The app opens on the Network page in Basic mode.

2. Layout

  • Sidebar (left) — Network, Diagnostics, Minecraft, Settings.
  • Breadcrumb (top) — shows where you are.
  • Settings — opens as an overlay: theme, language, and (Expert mode) Connection settings.

3. Basic vs. Expert mode

Settings → toggle Expert to show the Connection section and the real-adapter option. Toggling it only changes what's visible — nothing you've already set stops applying when you switch back to Basic.

4. Turn on the real adapter (Expert)

  1. Settings → turn on Expert mode.
  2. Network page → enable the real-adapter toggle.
  3. If prompted Needs Admin, click the relaunch button and approve the Windows prompt. The app restarts elevated, keeping your state.
  4. Done — the adapter is created automatically.

Without this, the app still runs (handshake, telemetry) but there's no real network interface.

5. Connect to one peer — manual pairing

  1. Network page → generate your Offer.
  2. Send it to your peer any way you like (chat, voice call, email).
  3. Your peer pastes it in, generates their Answer, sends it back.
  4. Paste their Answer in.
  5. Wait — the link shows Connected once found.

Didn't connect? See Troubleshooting.

6. Connect to a group — Virtual Network

Host:

  1. Network page → Virtual Network panel → Create Network.
  2. Set a name and password → create.
  3. Share the network name, your host address, and the password with your group.

Full field-by-field walkthrough: How to Create a Virtual Network.

Join:

  1. Virtual Network panel → Join Network.
  2. Enter host address, network name, password.
  3. Everyone auto-connects to everyone — no pasting required.

Full field-by-field walkthrough: How to Join a Virtual Network.

Can't reach the host? See Troubleshooting.

7. Minecraft preset

Minecraft page → shows your current settings and a one-click preset button (recommended settings for Minecraft). Works with either connection method above — it only changes settings, not how you connect.

8. Connection settings

Settings → Connection:

Setting What it does Takes effect
Broadcast forwarding Tunnel carries broadcast traffic Immediately
Multicast forwarding Tunnel carries multicast traffic Immediately
FEC redundancy (r) Packet-loss recovery strength Next Connect
Extra routed networks Additional address/prefix routed through the tunnel Next Connect

9. Diagnostics

  • Telemetry — RTT, jitter, loss, throughput.
  • Packet log — low-level traffic log.
  • Topology — you ↔ peer, live status.
  • Spectrum chart — live throughput graph.

10. Theme and language

Settings → Personalization → 6 themes, 3 languages (English, 繁體中文, 简体中文). Both switch instantly and are remembered.

11. Export/import a connection profile

Settings → Connection → Export/Import saves or loads your connection settings as a JSON file.

12. Disconnect

Network page → Disconnect. If you were hosting a Virtual Network, this also stops it — other members will see you leave.

13. Troubleshooting

Problem Try this
Stuck on "connecting" Generate a fresh Offer/Answer and retry.
"Needs Admin" won't clear Approve the Windows prompt; declining reverts the toggle.
Can't join a hosted network The host is likely behind a NAT without port forwarding.
A setting didn't seem to apply Check the table in §8 — some only apply on the next Connect.
