Soft, tousled dark-brown hair in a chin-length wavy bob with side-swept bangs, dark eyes, and a small beauty mark just under one eye. Fair skin and a slim, petite, softly curved figure with a moderate bust. Her constant accessory is a red scarf, looped at her neck even as everything else changes.
Undressed. Out of her layers and scarf Yuriko is slim, petite, and softly curved with fair, poreless skin. Her bust is small and soft — gently conical, tapering to a soft point and sitting a little apart, tipped with small, faintly protruding pink nipples on small close areolae. Her waist is trim, running down into a round, full, firm ass — a smooth heart from behind that projects in a clean, generous curve. Between her thighs she's smooth and completely clean-shaven, a soft pale mound with a neat, mostly-closed slit and just the pink tip of the inner lips peeking at the base. Fair, smooth skin the whole way down.
Uniform across the levels. Yuriko stays more covered and layered than most, and the red scarf never leaves — a little security-blanket of a signature that suits her guarded, withdrawn streak. At level 1 she's among the most covered in class: a fully buttoned white blouse, the red scarf, and a plaid pleated skirt; by level 5 a zipped red crop vest over a sports bra with a plaid micro-skirt; at level 7 an open white cardigan over a lace bra; by level 10 the cardigan hangs open over bare skin with just the scarf and a plaid micro-skirt. Even stripped down she keeps something wrapped around her — the scarf stays.
Mostly a loner — guarded, with a slight depressive, withdrawn streak. Early in the game Yuriko is the reluctant holdout on anything sexual: prickly, easily embarrassed, convinced the whole subject is unnecessary and uncomfortable. Her relationship with Elsie Johnson is her one warm, open anchor; with everyone else she keeps her distance. There's a real cynical, bitter edge to her, too — she finds most of her classmates shallow and says so, with a dry, sardonic contempt that holds people off as much as her shyness does.
Level progression. At low levels she's the most closed-off and resistant of the class, defensive whenever the topic comes up. She thaws slowly. At higher levels (see School Levels) she becomes casual and matter-of-fact about sex — but flatly, dryly, unbothered rather than enthusiastic. She never turns bubbly: the deadpan is the same loner affect it always was, just no longer on the defensive. Graphic candour landing in that bored monotone is the whole effect.
