v0.0.12
HushPinterest 0.0.12 has 32 patches for Pinterest 14.41.0. It's built on Morphe patcher 1.15.1, so it needs Morphe Manager 1.34.0 or newer. This one moves to Pinterest's newest version and adds a lot of new switches, every one of them off until you turn it on. Filter feed can hide video pins and pins with words you mute. Keep Home feed stops Home from reloading on its own when you come back to it, and Show posted date puts the day a pin went up under its title. Download pins can copy or share the picture itself now, and its rows show in the full-screen pin menu too. Downloads also stopped settling for the smaller copy now and then.
It's a new Pinterest version. So far APKMirror only has 14.41.0 as an arm64 bundle (.apkm) for Android 12L or newer, and Manager merges it before patching. Patch it with the same signing key you used before and install it over your current HushPinterest, and your settings stay as they are. On a phone older than Android 12L, keep 0.0.11 and Pinterest 14.40.0 for now.
What's new
- The patches now target Pinterest 14.41.0, the newest stable release. 14.40.0 is no longer supported. So far APKMirror has 14.41.0 only as an arm64 bundle (
.apkm) for Android 12L or newer, and Manager merges it before patching. - Download pin now shows in the full-screen pin menu some accounts get from the three dots on a pin, along with the other Hush rows, and Pinterest's own Download row in that menu gives way to it. Before, only the smaller pop-up menu had them.
- Download pins has a new switch, Copy image, that starts off. It adds a Copy image row under Download pin, in the small pin menu and in the full-screen one, and puts the full-size picture on the clipboard so you can paste it into a chat or a notes app. Video pins don't get the row. If the picture is too big, isn't really an image, or takes too long, you're told so and your clipboard stays as it was. (#11)
- Download pins also has Share image, another switch that starts off. Its row sits under Copy image and opens Android's share menu with the full-size picture itself rather than a link, so the app you pick gets the image. Video pins don't get it, and if the picture can't be fetched you get a short note instead of the share menu. (#11)
- Long-press download has three new switches on the Pin actions page: Hide Save, Hide Send and Hide Search image in the long-press menu. Each takes that one Pinterest button out of the round menu you get by holding a pin in a grid, and the pin itself still saves, shares and searches as before. They work with Download off too. If everything would be hidden and Download is off, the menu stays Pinterest's own rather than opening empty. All three start off. (#11)
- Black comments now covers the strip under the status bar too. On 14.41.0 the comments fill the whole screen, and that strip stayed dark gray above the black list on photo and video pins alike.
- Downloads no longer save the smaller copy now and then when the original is there. Finding the original asks Pinterest's media server a few quick questions, and one asked just as both lookup helpers were wrapping up the last was turned away, so the download settled for the size the feed showed. It now waits a moment for a helper to come free.
- Copy media link no longer overwrites something you copied after it. When a pin shows only a smaller size, the link to that size goes on the clipboard right away, and it becomes the original's link once Pinterest's media server answers, but only if the clipboard still holds that copy. Before, nothing was copied until the answer came, and a slow answer could replace whatever you'd copied in the meantime.
- Save list no longer hangs when the app holding the picked file stops answering. Each save gets 30 seconds in all, then you're told to check the file, and a late answer from that app doesn't add another message or remove anything. While that app is still busy, a new list says to try later instead of opening a picker. Everything that talks to the file's app now runs on its own helper, never on the screen's thread, including the clean-up after a list that couldn't be written while HushPinterest was paused.
- A list that isn't written no longer deletes an empty file you picked to write over. Only an empty file made since the picker opened gets removed. Any other file is left where it is, and you're told so.
- Save list leaves out a source link that hides a session code behind an encoded
;(%3B, that encoded again, or a longer spelling some servers still read as;), the way it already left out a plain;jsessionid=. The pin's ID, title and Pinterest link still go in. Ordinary encoded spaces and accented letters stay exactly as given. - Queue selected and Queue pins stay off until something chosen can actually be saved. A pin with no picture address, or a video Pinterest only streams, doesn't turn them on anymore, though Save list still takes those pins. A mix still queues what it can and counts the rest as unsupported.
- Morphe Manager lists every change of the release your Pinterest was patched with, not just a short summary. For that one release Manager shows the patch bundle's description instead of this changelog, and the description was one paragraph while every older release listed its changes. It now goes on with the release's changes after the summary, starting with this one.
- Hide comments has a second switch, Hide suggested replies, for the row of ready-made replies like "Yum!" and "Came out great!" next to the comment box. You can still write your own comment. It starts off, and the two switches don't turn each other on. (#14)
- Hide AI-labeled pins has a second switch, Hide pins that say they're AI, for AI pins Pinterest doesn't label. It takes a pin whose title or description says something like "AI art", "AI generated", #aiart, "made with AI", Midjourney, Stable Diffusion or PixAI, and pins from sites that only host AI images, like pixai.art and Civitai. It goes by the pin's own words, so a pin that just says "AI" stays, and names like Ai Weiwei or the Portuguese "aí" are left alone. Boards named that way stay too. It starts off, and diagnostics count these pins apart from the labeled ones.
- Hide closeup buttons has a third switch, Hide Search image label on pins. Pinterest puts a "Search image" label on the lens button for your first two pins each day, and with this on the lens shows without it, the way it looks from the third pin on. Tapping the lens still searches. It starts off and sits under Hide lens button on the Interface page. (#13)
- New Filter feed patch, with a Hide video pins switch on the Feed page. It takes pins that play a video out of your home feed, search, related pins and boards, idea pins with video included. Photos and GIFs stay. It starts off.
- Filter feed also has Muted words, a row on the Feed page where you type words and phrases you don't want to see. A pin whose title or description has one of them leaves the same lists. Capitals don't matter and only whole words count, so "cake" takes out "Wedding Cake Ideas" but not cupcakes. The list holds 50 entries of up to 40 characters, starts empty, and goes into settings files with your switches. Boards named after a muted word stay.
- New Keep Home feed patch, with its switch on the Feed page. Pinterest reloads Home with new pins on its own when you come back after five minutes or more, when you pick the Home tab again after a while and when you back out of a search, and the pin you were about to open is gone. With this on, Home stays where you left it. Pull down whenever you want new pins. The new pins prompt, a second tap on the Home tab and a pin you open from a notification still load as before. It starts off.
- New Show posted date patch, with its switch on the Interface page. Pinterest sends the day each pin was posted but never shows it, and with this on you see "Posted" and that day under the title when you open a pin. A pin without a date just doesn't get the line. The date follows the language HushPinterest shows and your phone's time zone. It starts off and shows from the next pin you open. (#11)
- With Debug logging on, the line for a kept pin also says whether Pinterest marked it as a repin or as saved to one of your boards. It shows only that the field is set, never which board.
- The Feed page has a new row under the AI switches, Pinterest's own AI setting. It opens the page where Pinterest lets you see fewer AI pins among the ones it picks for you, since neither that page nor the switches catch every AI pin alone. It's there whenever Hide AI-labeled pins is patched in.
Behind the scenes
- The pin model fixture test also checks the fields Hide video pins reads, the two inside Pinterest's video and idea pin models included, and the grid title that the AI words and video filters use to tell a pin from other models.
- The pre-push and release checks take a declared build kept as APKMirror's
.apkmbundle, since that's the only way 14.41.0 ships. The bug report form's example names a bundle too, and the release step keeps whatever kind of file the form names. - The release gate's advisory check works in Windows PowerShell 5.1 again. Since 0.0.11, any failed OSV request stopped it there with an "Unable to find type" error. A dropped connection or a busy server now gets asked again in 5.1, the way it already did in PowerShell 7.
- The README's Help now goes through why Android might refuse the install. It says where Manager keeps its signing key, so an update that won't go over your patched copy can be fixed without losing your settings. It also covers stock Pinterest and the unknown apps prompt.
- The README sends people on v0.0.11 to Pinterest 14.40.0 again, the build that release patches, and names 14.41.0 as the next release's build. It had pointed them at 14.41.0, which v0.0.11 refuses. The release's prepare step now stops while the README still names a next release, so it gets rewritten for the new build...
v0.0.11
HushPinterest 0.0.11 has 29 patches for Pinterest 14.40.0. It's built on Morphe patcher 1.15.1, so it needs Morphe Manager 1.34.0 or newer. This one fixes Hide AI-labeled pins. Pinterest 14.40.0 changed how it marks AI pins, so with the switch on they still showed up in search and the home feed. HushPinterest now reads the new marks, including the ones Pinterest's own detection adds.
It's the same Pinterest version as 0.0.10. Patch 14.40.0 again and install it over your current HushPinterest with the same signing key, and your settings stay as they are.
What's new
- Hide AI-labeled pins works on Pinterest 14.40.0 again. That version marks AI pins in a new way, including the ones Pinterest's own detection flags, and stopped sending the old label, so with the switch on they kept showing in search and the home feed. It now reads the new marks as well as the old label.
Behind the scenes
- The release gate's advisory check asks OSV again when a connection drops or the server is busy, up to two more times, before it gives up. One lost request out of the hundred or so a release sends used to stop the whole gate.
Install
- Install Morphe Manager 1.34.0 or newer.
- Add HushPinterest as a patch source: https://morphe.software/add-source?github=SysAdminDoc%2FHushPinterest
- Download Pinterest 14.40.0, version code 14408010, as the universal APK, and patch it. It needs Android 10 or newer.
- Uninstall the stock Pinterest first, since Android won't put one over the other. Save anything you keep only on the phone before you do. Your boards and pins come back when you sign in.
- Sign in with your email and a Pinterest password. If you joined through Google or Facebook, tap Forgot your password? on Pinterest's login page to set one first.
- Right after your first patch, export Morphe Manager's signing key (Settings, then System, then Import & export, then Signing key) and keep it somewhere private. Updates only install over a Pinterest signed with that same key.
Already on HushPinterest? Skip steps 4 and 5. Patch 14.40.0 with the same key and install it over the one you have.
The .mpp download is a patch bundle, not a Pinterest APK. Installation instructions. SHA256SUMS.txt is signed with the HushPinterest release key, fingerprint FCE5 ECE3 182A 647B 3AF2 C5ED 2DC3 5E8D 5C00 E8A6. How to check a download.
Validation
All 221 patch tests and 948 extension tests passed on this commit, none skipped. The bundle attached here was patched onto a real Pinterest 14.40.0 APK with Morphe's desktop patcher, and all 29 patches applied without forcing. release-receipt-0.0.11.json records that result, the APK's hash and what patching changed in the app's manifest. The fix was also checked on a signed-in Android 16 emulator running Pinterest 14.40.0. With Hide AI-labeled pins on, a search for AI art on 0.0.10 still showed all 23 pins of the first page, and Pinterest had marked 22 of them as AI. With these patches the marked pins were gone, and none of the pins left showed Pinterest's "AI modified" line when opened. The home feed loaded as usual with no marked pins in it.
v0.0.10
HushPinterest 0.0.10 has 29 patches for Pinterest 14.40.0. It's built on Morphe patcher 1.15.1, so it needs Morphe Manager 1.34.0 or newer. It's a small one. Hide search history now reaches the recent searches Pinterest 14.40.0 lists when you tap the search bar, and the Recent searches heading on the search page goes away with them. If you don't use Quick setups, you can now hide it with a long press.
It's the same Pinterest version as 0.0.9. Patch 14.40.0 again and install it over your current HushPinterest with the same signing key, and your settings stay as they are.
What's new
- Hide search history now also hides the recent searches listed when you tap the search bar, with no gap where they were. Suggestions for what you type still show, and turning the switch off or pausing brings the recent searches back.
- The Recent searches heading on the search page now hides along with the searches under it. Before, Hide search history left the heading sitting there over nothing.
- Don't use Quick setups? Press and hold its row on the settings home page and it's gone, and its help line now says so. Quick setups on the home page, on the Pause, backup and diagnostics page, brings it back.

The changes were also checked on a signed-in Android 16 emulator running these patches on Pinterest 14.40.0. With Hide search history on, the list under the search bar showed no recent searches while suggestions for typed text still came up, and the search page had no Recent searches heading and no gap where it was. Turning the switch off or pausing HushPinterest brought both back. A long press hid Quick setups, and its row on the Pause, backup and diagnostics page brought it back.
v0.0.9
HushPinterest 0.0.9 has 29 patches for Pinterest 14.40.0. It's built on Morphe patcher 1.15.1, so it needs Morphe Manager 1.34.0 or newer. HushPinterest now has its own row in Pinterest's Settings list, and its settings can show in English while Pinterest stays in your language. Black bottom bar reaches the buttons that stayed gray, AMOLED black adds Black comments and Black pin menu, and Hide save toasts catches confirmations it used to let through.
This release moves to Pinterest 14.40.0, the newest version. Patch 14.40.0 and install it over your current HushPinterest with the same signing key, and your settings stay as they are.
What's new
- HushPinterest now patches Pinterest 14.40.0, the newest release, in place of 14.39.0. Download pins, Long-press download, Hide topic suggestions and Open links in your browser couldn't find their spots in the new build until they were updated. Hide closeup buttons still hides the lens on both pin screens, though 14.40.0 builds one of those lenses differently.
- When a Quick setup can't change some of its switches, you now get one short message that says how many changed and how many didn't. Before, each of those switches could show a message of its own and crowd out the summary, and the summary itself ran past the two lines a message gets.
- A switch that needs a restart could have trouble saving on its way back to its starting value and still end up there. The restart row kept counting it anyway, and the next time you flipped that switch it could snap back. Now the row's count is right and the switch stays where you put it.
- With a screen reader on, the settings screen now reads how many changes are waiting for a restart whenever that number changes, and reads the result of a Check now you tapped. Each is read once, after whatever is already being read, and focus stays where it was. The daily check that runs on its own stays quiet.
- Quick setups now counts only the switches that really changed. If one can't be changed, the message also says how many were left as they were, and whether the page already shows their saved values or needs opening again first.
- More settings is now a heading on the settings home page, with its six pages listed under it from Links to About. Every page is one tap from home and Back always goes home. Report a problem and Support HushPinterest are still the last two rows. Patch descriptions and the bug report form point to the shorter paths.
- HushPinterest can show its own settings, menus and messages in English while Pinterest stays in your language. Tap HushPinterest language on the Pause, backup and diagnostics page and pick English. The screen changes right away with no restart, and Same as Pinterest switches it back. The choice works while HushPinterest is paused and isn't written to exported settings files.
- Hide header buttons keeps the Settings gear in Saved visible, including when Pinterest uses another language. Optional icons still hide, and turning the switch off or pausing restores them.
- HushPinterest has its own row in Pinterest's Settings list. It opens while HushPinterest is paused and works alongside the Morphe settings entry. The logo long press, app shortcut and App info entry still work.
- Original-image searches now share a 10-second deadline, including connection setup and slow headers. Short-link HEAD requests also stop at their deadline. A stalled host keeps the supplied image or clipboard text, and repeated attempts can't create unlimited network workers.
- Save list can write a bookmarks file now. Tap Save list in Download visible pins or Download board and pick Bookmarks file (HTML) or JSON file. The bookmarks file opens in any browser and imports into browsers and bookmark apps, with each pin as a bookmark and its source link in the description. It follows the JSON list's rules: only the pins you chose or the board had loaded, no account details or media addresses, and a source link is left out when it can't be kept exactly as given. The JSON list is unchanged.
- When a change needs Pinterest to restart, a Restart row shows up near the top of the settings page right away and counts the changes waiting. Tapping it closes Pinterest and reopens it on the same settings page. The old line that only said a restart was needed is gone.
- Disable analytics, Hide screenshot share and Fix push notifications now bring up the Restart row when you flip them, since each one takes effect on Pinterest's next start.
- Report a problem sits just above Support HushPinterest on the settings home. It opens GitHub's bug form with your HushPinterest and Pinterest versions, your phone model, its Android version and the switches you have on already filled in, and leaves room for what happened and what you expected. Nothing is sent until you submit it on GitHub.
- Quick setups on the settings home turns on the Quiet or Privacy switches in one tap, or puts every feature switch back the way it started. A message says how many settings it changed.
- Settings search, buttons and choices have clearer focus outlines and consistent control borders. Back and Clear search also have labels when you hover or hold them.
- Settings summaries are shorter, with the same restart and download limits explained in all five translations. Switches use squared corners, and Licenses and a no-change import preview close with Close.
- Download board keeps its explanation above the choices, so large text doesn't squeeze out the actions. Download history explains why finished files can't be opened while downloads are off or paused, and no longer suggests getting a fresh link for a finished download.
- Settings opens again from Android's App info page or the launcher shortcut when Pinterest's home screen is already running. Those requests used to miss the settings hook on that screen.
- Hide save toasts now catches the confirmations it used to let through. Two are Pinterest's own toasts: the Saved to your board message with a "Tap here to discover more ideas" line, which Pinterest swaps in from your third save in a row to the same board, and the board picker's Saved to message when you save to several boards or to your profile. The others are worded on the spot by the screen that saves the pin. That's the Saved to section message, and the plain Android pop-up Pinterest uses in a few places, such as a save from another app's share sheet. Those are picked out by their text in whatever language Pinterest is showing, so a moved pin, a new section, an error or a removal still gets its message. With Debug logging on, the log names every toast Pinterest shows and says whether it was hidden, and it notes each Android pop-up from a save screen without its text.
- Black bottom bar now paints the bar's buttons in the layouts where they stayed gray. That covers frosted glass buttons and the search pill, plus any button Pinterest rebuilds after the bar first appears. The search pill turns black on phones that show it see-through instead of frosted too. Icons, outlines and the selected marker keep their colors, and Pinterest's gray comes back when the switch is off, HushPinterest is paused or the phone is in light mode.
- AMOLED black has two new switches on the Interface page, Black comments and Black pin menu. In dark mode, Black comments paints the comments sheet and its reply bar pure black, and Black pin menu does the same for a pin's menu. While either one is open, the strip behind the gesture bar at the bottom of the screen is black too, so the sheet doesn't end in a gray band. Both start off. Text and icons keep their colors, and so do the divider lines. Pinterest's gray comes back when a switch is off or HushPinterest is paused, and light mode is left alone.
- The band along the bottom edge, behind the navigation buttons or gesture handle, now stays black with Black bottom bar, Black comments and Black pin menu. On phones with the three navigation buttons, Pinterest gives that band its page's gray twice over, once on its own strip and once on the window behind the buttons, so a black bar or sheet still ended in a gray stripe. Both turn black now, they're turned back on the very next frame whenever Pinterest grays them again, and they get the page's color back once nothing black is showing.
- Searching settings for AMOLED or dark theme now finds Black comments and Black pin menu as well as Black bottom bar. On a Pinterest build where one of the three can't be patched, the Interface page shows only the switches that work, each with its own description.
- Section headings in HushPinterest settings no longer pick up a dotted capital I ("SETTİNGS") when HushPinterest is set to English and Pinterest is in Turkish. Capitals now follow the language the heading is written in.
- The Support HushPinterest row at the bottom of settings is now just its name. The "Buy me a coffee on Ko-fi" line under it is gone, and the row still opens the Ko-fi page.
Behind the scenes
- The gate's own dex checks find the pin menu's close event, the topic row and a lens built in place the way 14.40.0 lays them out, and the fixture tests pin 14.40.0's class names.
- The README is much shorter now. It keeps what you need to install, set up, troubleshoot and verify HushPinterest, and the longer version with its test notes and internals is still in the repository history. The Ko-fi link that dropped out of it on October 12 is back above the title.
- The help link on GitHub's new issue page now opens the README's Help section. It used to point at Discussions, which this repository doesn't have, so it led nowhere.
- Compiled APK checks cover settings requests delivered to Pinterest's home screen and reject a missing entry hook. Their small test APKs now include that activity too.
- The runtime reference now includes the original Pinterest 14.39.0 survey and four measurement intervals. It keeps those network counters and memory snapshots separate from the older 14.38.0 packet study. Four nat...
v0.0.8
HushPinterest 0.0.8 has 29 patches for Pinterest 14.39.0. It's built on Morphe patcher 1.15.1, so it needs Morphe Manager 1.34.0 or newer. Long-press the Pinterest logo at the top of your home feed and HushPinterest settings open right over it. Two new patches came along too, AMOLED black and Hide closeup buttons, plus redesigned settings and a long list of download fixes.
It's the same Pinterest version as 0.0.7. Patch 14.39.0 again and install it over your current HushPinterest with the same signing key, and your settings stay as they are.
What's new
- Long-press the Pinterest logo at the top of your home feed to open HushPinterest settings. It works even while HushPinterest is paused. The app icon shortcut and Android's App info page still open them too.
- Share file in Download history shows a frame of a saved video in Android's share sheet on Android 11 and later, where it used to show a plain file icon. The app you share to still gets the video itself with its name. Images already had a preview and work as before.
- Disable update nag checks that the spot it guards still comes before Pinterest's call to the Play Store update prompt. A future Pinterest build that asks Play Store first now stops patching with a clear message, rather than getting a guard that would run too late to stop the pop-up.
- New patch, AMOLED black. Its Black bottom bar switch paints the bottom bar pure black in dark mode, so it no longer sits as a gray strip under Pinterest's black pages. It works whether Pinterest shows the bar as one rounded piece or each tab as its own rounded button, and the strip behind the gesture handle turns black with it. Menus and buttons that share the bar's gray keep it, and light mode stays as it is. It starts off and lives on the Interface page.
- New patch, Hide closeup buttons. Two switches hide the back arrow and the visual search (lens) button that float over a pin you open, so they stop covering the picture. Your phone's back gesture still leaves the pin, and Search image in the pin menu still works. Other icon buttons in the app aren't touched. Both start off and live on the Interface page.
- Media details has Check the file for image pins. One tap reads the first 64 KB of the file a download would save and shows its real width, height, type and file size, since Pinterest's numbers can describe a smaller display copy. Nothing is fetched until you tap it, and every value says whether Pinterest supplied it or the file showed it. When the media host is too busy or slow to say whether it has the original, the result isn't kept, so the next tap asks again. Reading the file gives up after 15 seconds, even when the host never answers.
- Download visible pins has All, Images and Videos filters with counts above the list, so they and the buttons stay on screen however many pins you can pick from, and each row shows the picture its cell already has, so pins are easier to tell apart. Nothing extra is downloaded for those pictures. Download board now asks whether to queue all of a board's loaded pins, only the images or only the videos.
- Save list, in Download visible pins and Download board, writes the pins you chose to a JSON file you pick. Each pin has its Pinterest link, its title and the source link Pinterest supplied. A source link with a query, a fragment, a sign-in part or a private or reserved host name is marked as omitted instead of being cut down. Your account and cookies never go in the file. Save list works on a board even when every loaded pin is already in Download history, and when a list can't be written, the empty file the picker made is removed again. A file you picked to write over is never removed.
- Dialogs that only show something now close with Close, and ones that leave a choice untaken say Cancel. Save in Download again is now Use Download again, and the pin menu's Media details lines read Width, Height and Size. Card edges stand out more against the dark background, the overview card's color follows a right-to-left language, and a finished batch no longer repeats its whole summary in a toast while its dialog still shows it.
- A review of all five translations fixed 87 lines. Turkish now talks to you the same informal way everywhere, puts the right ending on HushPinterest, and shows an import change as old → new where it used to say "instead of". German no longer runs the Download pins and Download board names together. Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese stick to one word for switches, Portuguese calls boards "pastas" everywhere like Pinterest does, and Indonesian points to the Downloads folder by its Indonesian name.
- At large text sizes, when a dialog's buttons stack, all of them show now. Download visible pins used to show Queue selected and a sliver of Cancel, with Save list hidden until you scrolled the buttons. The list or message above scrolls instead, and the buttons never take more than half the screen.
- Toasts from a pin batch and Save list fit in the two lines Android 12 and later show. A batch whose dialog has closed gives its counts in one short sentence, and a note about pins already in Download history or a file left behind comes up as its own toast.
- Every other HushPinterest toast now fits in those two lines too, in English and in German, Spanish, Indonesian, Portuguese and Turkish. Over 40 of them used to stop partway with "...", mostly around settings import and export, download retries and the file and folder pickers. They say the same thing in fewer words. When no app can open a link, the toast now just names the address, so more of it shows.
- The Notifications page shows whether Android lets Pinterest show notifications, and one tap opens Android's notification settings for the patched app. It never changes a permission for you.
- The update check gives up after 20 seconds even when GitHub answers slowly or a connection stalls, and Check now can be tapped again right away.
- With Debug logging on, a feed module's line now names each entry that isn't a pin by its type, never its content, so a report shows everything the module carried.
- Download pins has two new switches, both off to start. One waits for an unmetered network and the other holds downloads while roaming. They cover single pins, visible pins, boards and retries, and changing them never cancels a download that's already queued. A download held back for its network shows as Queued in Download history, not as a failure, and starts by itself once an allowed network is back. Wi-Fi marked as metered doesn't count as unmetered.
- A finished download can be opened or shared straight from its Download history row. History asks Android first, so a deleted file or a download removed from history won't open anything stale. Set as wallpaper makes the same check now. The other app gets the file under its own name, like
Pinterest_123_456.mp4, where it used to see every download as "Download pin". - Download board keeps far less in memory while boards are loaded. Each pin is kept as its id and the media found for it instead of the whole pin. A Download history too long to read keeps its newest entries instead of starting over empty.
- Strip link tracking and Plain pin links no longer swallow text that sits right after a link with no space, like a Japanese caption after
?utm_source=x. A hashtag or date in that text stays text, and a second link glued on after it is cleaned on its own. A link written into another link's query, like a share text with&utm_source=after it, stays part of that link so its tags still come off. A link longer than 4,096 characters is left as it is, so a huge pasted text can't hold up a share. Links with non-ASCII paths or queries stay whole. - The quick checks Plain pin links makes against pin.it short links, and Download pins against Pinterest's image host, go out without any cookies the app holds for those hosts. A cookie Pinterest's short-link service sets on its answer is dropped again, so it can't stop the next lookup, and cookies Pinterest itself stores meanwhile are left alone.
- Hide shopping and product pins also hides the Shop the look section under a pin, the row of products picked to match the photo. The pin's own Visit button and its Paid link label stay.
- The setup guide's sign-in section now agrees with the rest of the settings. It says Google sign-in doesn't work with stock Google Play services (the Spoof signature patch is for phones with microG-RE or XSpoofSignatures), and that the Fix push notifications patch, on by default, signs the app up for push notifications, instead of calling push untested.
- Settings search no longer lists every row without a summary when you type "null".
- The diagnostic report counts a promoted pin as removed only once the whole feed list has gone through. When Pinterest's list couldn't be read all the way, the page shows as it was, but the report still said an ad had been removed.
- Screen reader and keyboard fixes in settings. The search field is read by its hint and what you typed, Clear search hands focus back to the field, the result of a tapped Check now is spoken when it lands (the daily check settings runs on its own stays quiet), and the Back and Clear buttons show where keyboard focus is. Choices that act at once, like Copy quick report, Remove from history and Save in Download again, no longer carry the chevron that means a tap opens something.
- The long-press shortcut's icon is drawn from the settings colors, so its blue matches the icon badges on the settings pages.
- A download folder with # or % in its name, such as Pictures/Art #2, now gets the download. Android's download service reads the folder back from text, where # ended the path and % started an escape, so the file landed in the wrong place or nowhere.
- Open links in your browser no longer keeps a link inside Pinterest just because its address starts with "pinterest." A site named pinterest.example.com isn't Pinterest's, so it opens in your brow...
v0.0.7
HushPinterest 0.0.7 has 27 patches for Pinterest 14.39.0. It's built on Morphe patcher 1.15.1, so it needs Morphe Manager 1.34.0 or newer. A patched Pinterest can now sign up for push notifications, which Google's Firebase used to refuse, and you can pick the folder your downloads go to. Hide ads also looks inside the rows of pins on Home and under a pin, and Hide shopping catches store product pins.
This release moves to Pinterest 14.39.0. Patch 14.39.0 and install it over your current HushPinterest with the same signing key, and your settings stay as they are.
What's new
- Pinterest 14.39.0 is now the supported version. All 27 patches apply to it, and 14.38.0 is no longer a target.
- New Fix push notifications patch, on by default. Google's Firebase service only signs Pinterest up for push notifications when the request names Pinterest's original signature, and a patched Pinterest is signed with a different one, so it never got a notification token. The patch gives Firebase the original signature's fingerprint when Pinterest signs up and changes nothing else in the request. Its switch is on the new Notifications page under More settings.
- Download pins has a new Save in Pinterest's folder switch, and it starts off. With it on, downloads go to Pictures/100PINT/Pins, the folder Pinterest's own image saves use, instead of filling up Download. Board downloads, long-press downloads and retries from Download history follow it too, and the download messages and Download history point to that folder instead of Downloads. (#5)
- Download pins can also save into a folder you pick. Tap Pick a download folder and choose any folder inside Pictures, DCIM, Download or Documents in Android's folder picker. Android's Downloads still does the saving, so nothing gets copied and no storage permission is needed. Each download in Download history remembers its folder, so its messages point there even after you pick another. Tap the row again to pick a different folder or go back to Download. Save in Pinterest's folder wins while it's on, and picking a folder turns it off. (#5)
- Long-press download keeps Pinterest's own buttons again. Holding a pin in a grid showed only Download, because Pinterest's Pin, Share and More ideas buttons never sprang back in after the patch laid the menu out again. Now all three show with Download after them, and letting go on any of them does what it says.
- System share sheet opens Android's share menu from a pin's Share button on 14.39.0. The pin's id is now read from the fields Pinterest's share sheet fills, found when you patch, instead of by a name that pointed somewhere else in 14.39.0, which left Pinterest's own sheet showing with the switch on.
- Hide advertising ID now keeps Pinterest's browser ID out of Google's Block Store too. Pinterest kept it there so that, on a phone with Google backup on, it would outlast an uninstall and come back on a new phone, which let a fresh install send the old ID before you'd signed in. With the switch on, Pinterest finds no saved ID, and when it tries to save one it deletes the stored copy instead, so a reinstall starts fresh. The browser cookie for the install you're using keeps working the way it did.
- The settings home ends with a Support HushPinterest row. Tapping it opens the Ko-fi page in your browser, and if no app can open it you get a message with the address instead. Its text is translated into German, Spanish, Indonesian, Brazilian Portuguese and Turkish.
- Download board no longer saves a board's pins a second time once they've dropped off Download history. The history still shows the newest 32 entries, and it now remembers the 500 before those. Removing a pin from Download history forgets its older downloads too.
- Morphe Manager and the patch index now show the HushPinterest icon next to the source instead of the owner's GitHub picture.
- Hide ads now looks inside modules. A row of ideas on Home or a group of pins under the pin you opened carries its own pins, and an ad in one got through because Hide ads only checked the row itself. Now the ad comes out of the row, and a row left with nothing in it goes too, heading and all. Hide AI-labeled pins and Hide shopping reach inside rows the same way. A pin that carries Pinterest's promotion or campaign ID also counts as an ad now. (#6)
- Hide shopping and product pins now hides a shop's product pins, the ones shown with a store name like Target or Nordstrom Rack and a tag icon under the picture. Pinterest doesn't mark them as paid, so Hide ads keeps leaving them alone, but they slipped past Hide shopping too. With Debug logging on, the diagnostic report also lists the shopping and ad fields of what stays, so a pin that still gets through can be tracked down. (#6)
- Hide ads now catches shopping spotlight stories on the feed models that keep the story kind as Pinterest's own type rather than as text. Before, only the text form counted, so a spotlight on those models stayed unless Hide shopping was on too. Other stories stay put, and Hide shopping still works on its own.
- If a Pinterest update leaves Hide ads only part of its hooks, the Feed page now names the feed lists and ad panels it couldn't reach instead of reading as if everything's covered. The diagnostic report lists every list and panel with how much of it went in, and names the two places no hook reaches yet (Shopping ideas groups in search results and shopping wrappers under related pins). A full build reads the same as before.
- Strip link tracking has a new Plain pin links switch on the Privacy page, and it starts off. With it on, a pin.it link you copy or share becomes the pin's own pinterest.com link, so it doesn't tell Pinterest who shared it. Links Pinterest makes for Copy link or a share change right away, even when you send a pin straight to another app, because HushPinterest sees which pin Pinterest made the link for. Any other short link you copy is checked with Pinterest in the background and swapped on the clipboard a moment later, as long as you haven't copied something else by then. Shared text never waits for that check, and if it fails or takes longer than 4 seconds the short link stays. A pin link from one of Pinterest's country sites, like de.pinterest.com or www.pinterest.co.uk, becomes the same www.pinterest.com link with no lookup, and a pin's sent link drops the invite code that ties it to whoever sent it. Board links and account pages stay as they are, and so does a pin link that still carries a parameter after tracking tags come off.
- HushPinterest settings has a new page under More settings, Pinterest's own settings. It shows where Pinterest keeps its own theme, privacy, notification, AI content and cellular autoplay settings, and names each step through Pinterest's menus in the language Pinterest is using. HushPinterest doesn't change any of them. The AI content row explains how it differs from Hide AI-labeled pins, and the autoplay row says Pinterest may still load part of a video ahead of time.
- HushPinterest drops its Android 9 code now that Pinterest 14.39.0 needs Android 10. The file picker saves go, along with their Pending saves page, and so does the app folder Android 9 used for diagnostic reports. Every download is handed to Android's Downloads, and a selection's summary no longer has a Saved line, since only the picker ever filled it.
- HushPinterest's short messages now show as Pinterest's own toasts. When a dialog is open, a message is long or has more than one line, or the Pinterest build's toast code isn't what the patch expects, they stay Android toasts.
Behind the scenes
- The release receipt, the patch verifier and the device lease now hold the patched app to Android 10 (API 29), the same floor the settings patch sets since the Android 9 code went. They still expected API 28, so a target whose own floor was below 29 would have failed the receipt.
- While a release hold keeps the published index behind source, the release check now wants the bug report form to name the published release with the Pinterest build it was made for. It used to pair the published version with source's newer build, a combination nobody filing a report would have.
- The privacy doc now follows Pinterest's launch event, which carries the full URL the app was opened with, to both of its uploads:
v3/callback/event/andv3/callback/track_funnel/{event}/. Disable analytics already stops both. - The privacy doc now lists every header Pinterest puts on its API requests, with where each value comes from and whether a patch covers it. The advertising ID header is the only one a patch changes today.
- The header table now explains the last two.
X-Pinterest-AppStateonly says whether the app is in front and online.X-Pinterest-Platform-BIDis Pinterest's_bbrowser cookie, which the app keeps in Google Block Store (backed up to the cloud when Block Store offers end-to-end encryption), so it can survive a reinstall or a move to a new phone. - The privacy doc now follows the install ID to all of its uses. Besides its own header it's Pinterest's signed-out ID, AppsFlyer's
unauth_id, and the ID on analytics, push and reCAPTCHA events. A signed-in emulator kept its session, feed and search after the ID was swapped for a fresh one, so no hook is planned for it. - System share sheet now checks, when you patch, that Pinterest gives a pin the share kind the patch makes pin links for. A build that numbers its kinds differently is refused instead of sharing a board's id as a pin link. The fixture tests cover that refusal and the two ways the sendable's constructor can stop naming its id and kind.
- Long-press download now checks that a menu button's detach handler really cancels the spring driver the patch clears, by finding the cancel call on that driver, not just a call that reads it. The fixture tests pin 14.39.0's spring fields and refuse a handler without the cancel.
- The patch verifier's System share and l...
v0.0.6
HushPinterest 0.0.6 has 26 patches for Pinterest 14.38.0. It's built on Morphe patcher 1.15.1, so it needs Morphe Manager 1.34.0 or newer. New this time are Download board, Long-press download and Hide survey prompts, and Morphe Manager now selects every patch but Spoof signature for Google sign-in by default, with the newly selected ones' switches starting off.
This is the first release without Pinterest 14.25.0. On Android 9, keep HushPinterest 0.0.5 with Pinterest 14.25.0.
What's new
- HushPinterest now patches Pinterest 14.38.0 only, which needs Android 10 or newer. On Android 9, keep HushPinterest 0.0.5 with Pinterest 14.25.0.
- Morphe Manager's default selection now holds every patch but Spoof signature for Google sign-in, so you don't need Expert mode to find a feature. The 16 patches that joined it start with their switches off, so a build patched with the defaults acts like Pinterest until you turn one on in HushPinterest settings. Hide ads, Disable analytics, Strip link tracking and Hide advertising ID still start on.
- Hide AI-labeled pins now starts off. If you updated without ever changing it, it's off now, so turn it back on from the Feed page of HushPinterest settings if you want it.
- In Expert mode, Disable update nag sits under Updates and the two button patches under Navigation, so the Interface group is shorter to read.
- Each patch's description in Morphe Manager now says which page of HushPinterest settings holds its switch, and whether that switch starts on or off.
- Patch descriptions in Morphe Manager are rewritten in plain English. Each one says what the patch changes, why you might want it, and ends with where its switch is and whether it starts on or off.
- Setting rows in HushPinterest settings are reworded in plain English, with restart reminders and clearer notes on when a change shows. Translations for German, Spanish, Indonesian, Brazilian Portuguese and Turkish are updated to match.
- Download, setup guide, import and update-check messages are plainer and say what to do next. Translations are updated to match.
- New Download board patch. It adds Download board to a board's menu, which saves every pin Pinterest has loaded for that board (up to 500) the same way Download pins does. Pins already in Download history are skipped, and when it's done you see how many were saved, skipped or unsupported, with a reminder that only loaded pins are included. So scroll to the end of a board first if you want all of it. Download pins has to be on too. The switch starts off on the Pin actions page, and with it off or HushPinterest paused, the board menu is Pinterest's own. Nothing new is asked of Pinterest apart from the media downloads themselves.
- New Long-press download patch. Hold a pin in a grid and Pinterest's round menu gets a Download button after its own buttons. Slide onto it and let go, and the pin saves the same way Download pin in the pin menu saves it, so it shows up in Download history too. Download pins has to be on as well. The switch starts off on the Pin actions page, and with it off or HushPinterest paused, the menu is Pinterest's own. Boards and anything else you hold keep Pinterest's buttons.
- New Hide survey prompts patch. Pinterest sometimes opens with a "Got a minute? Take a quick survey" invite. With the switch on, HushPinterest turns it down before it shows, the same way tapping Maybe later does, so Pinterest marks that survey dismissed and doesn't queue it again on the next launch. Advertiser sponsored polls, which Pinterest opens as their own pop-up rather than in the feed, are skipped too. The switch starts off on the Interface page, and with it off or HushPinterest paused, Pinterest shows its invites and polls as before. An invite that's already on screen stays until you close it.
Behind the scenes
- The heavy desktop jobs now wait for a slot in the machine's build queue when
BUILD_QUEUE_SCRIPTnames one: CLI patch runs, split bundle merges, the resource table check, the dex and host reference checks and fingerprint ranking. They show up in the queue's status and no longer start beside two Gradle builds. A release receipt asks for release priority. The push hook readsBUILD_QUEUE_SCRIPTfrom the user environment too, and without a build wrapper its Gradle run waits for a slot as well. - The patch tests that open the Pinterest APKs now run in their own Gradle task,
:patches:fixtureTest, and:patches:testrefuses any test that tries to read one. Each APK is unzipped once per run instead of once per test, and its decoded manifest is kept the same way. The push check runs the fixture task after the quick checks, and the task fails when it runs no tests, or when it skips one while the fixtures are required. - Updated four runtime checks to match the current setup, link and download messages.
- A release now ends with
scripts/verify-published-index.ps1. It asks GitHub for the latest release and for the patches-bundle.json that main serves, and fails when they disagree, naming any index commit that never got pushed. For most of October 7, v0.0.5 was out while the index still said 0.0.4, so Morphe Manager didn't offer the update to anyone on 0.0.4. It came up in #3. - A patch test now fails when the extension carries a class from outside its own package, apart from the three Kotlin helpers it has always kept. The patcher lays such a class over Pinterest's own copy, and Download board's lookup of Kotlin's Unit had briefly pulled one in.
- Added measured factory network and background activity, with reusable comparison data, CPU and media timers, memory samples and scheduled-worker records. Kept physical battery drain explicitly unmeasured until an unplugged phone run is available.
- Added a signed-in factory audit with ad-delivery traces, privacy boundaries, all 23 patch mappings, native settings, screenshots and specific work to investigate next. Clarified that analytics filtering covers selected paths.
- Mapped the factory Pinterest 14.38.0 APK and first-run screen, with patch anchors for future updates.
Update from 0.0.5
- Morphe Manager offers 0.0.6 from the HushPinterest patch source. Patch Pinterest 14.38.0 and install it over your current Pinterest. Your sign-in and switches stay, as long as Morphe Manager signs it with the same key as before.
- Download board, Long-press download and Hide survey prompts are new and selected by default, with their switches off. Download board and Long-press download are on the Pin actions page of HushPinterest settings and need Download pins on too. Hide survey prompts is on the Interface page.
- Hide AI-labeled pins now starts off. If you never changed it, turn it back on from the Feed page if you want it.
- Still on Pinterest 14.25.0 because your phone runs Android 9? Stay on 0.0.5, since this release doesn't patch 14.25.0.
New install
- Install Morphe Manager 1.34.0 or newer.
- Add HushPinterest as a patch source: https://morphe.software/add-source?github=SysAdminDoc%2FHushPinterest
- Download Pinterest 14.38.0, version code 14388010, as the universal APK, and patch it.

Validation
All 186 patch tests and 705 extension tests passed on this commit, none skipped. The bundle attached here was patched onto a real Pinterest 14.38.0 APK with Morphe's desktop patcher, and all 26 patches applied without forcing. release-receipt-0.0.6.json records that result, the APK's hash and what patching changed in the app's manifest.
v0.0.5
HushPinterest 0.0.5 has 23 patches for Pinterest 14.38.0, and Pinterest 14.25.0 still patches the same way for phones on Android 9. It's built on Morphe patcher 1.15.1, so it needs Morphe Manager 1.34.0 or newer. The big one is Download pin: it now saves image pins at full size. New this time are Remove ad tracking permissions, Hide topic suggestions and Spoof signature for Google sign-in, and Disable analytics turns off more of Google's collection.
What's new
- Download pin now saves image pins. Pinterest's app is sent display sizes rather than the original for most pins, and the pin menu used to show "Download unavailable" for all of them. Now the download asks Pinterest's media host for the original behind the largest size and saves it, or saves that largest size when there's no original. Copy media link copies the same address, and Supplied media details says which size it describes. Thanks for the report in #2.
- Original-quality images now reaches pin closeups, not only collages. With it on, HushPinterest asks Pinterest for each pin's original along with its display sizes, and the closeup shows the original instead of the large size. Download pin then saves that original directly. Pins Pinterest already loaded keep their size until it loads them again.
- New Remove ad tracking permissions patch, on by default. It takes Google's advertising ID permission and Android's Privacy Sandbox ad services permissions and configuration out of Pinterest's manifest. There's no switch for it, so it stays until you patch again without it. While it's in, Google Play services hands Pinterest an all-zero ad ID even with Hide advertising ID turned off.
- Disable analytics now also turns off Firebase Crashlytics and Performance collection in the manifest, stops Google Analytics from collecting the ad ID, and sets Google's default consent for analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data and ad personalization to denied. Pinterest shipped all four consent defaults as granted. Like the Firebase Analytics flag, this stays until you patch again without the patch.
- New optional Hide topic suggestions patch. It hides the "Ideas you might love" row of topic bubbles under a pin, and the space it took closes up too. The switch starts off. Turn it off again, or pause HushPinterest, and the row comes back the next time Pinterest lays it out. Comments and related pins aren't touched.
- New Spoof signature for Google sign-in patch, off by default. It adds Pinterest's original signing certificate to the manifest so Google sign-in can work in the patched app. That only matters with microG-RE in place of Google Play services, or with the XSpoofSignatures LSPosed module and its permission granted. Stock Google Play services ignores it, and email and password sign-in never needed it.
Update from 0.0.4
- Morphe Manager offers 0.0.5 from the HushPinterest patch source. Patch the same Pinterest build you have now and install it over your current Pinterest. Your sign-in and switches stay, as long as Morphe Manager signs it with the same key as before.
- Remove ad tracking permissions is new and selected by default. Hide topic suggestions and Spoof signature for Google sign-in are new and start unselected, so pick them in Morphe Manager if you want them. Hide topic suggestions also has a switch on the Interface page of HushPinterest settings.
- Skip Spoof signature for Google sign-in unless your phone runs microG-RE or the XSpoofSignatures module. On a phone with Google Play services it does nothing.
On Android 9, use Pinterest 14.25.0, version code 14258020.

Validation
All 170 patch tests and 693 extension tests passed on this commit, none skipped. The bundle attached here was patched onto real Pinterest 14.38.0 and 14.25.0 APKs with Morphe's desktop patcher, and all 23 patches applied to both without forcing. release-receipt-0.0.5.json records each of those results, the APK hashes and what patching changed in the app's manifest.
On a signed-in Android 16 phone running patched 14.38.0, Download pin saved the originals behind Pinterest's 736x size (a 541x721 PNG, and a 1134x1621 PNG for a 736x1052 pin), and Copy media link copied the same originals address. With Original-quality images on, the feed loaded, the closeup showed the original and Download pin saved a 1080x1080 JPEG. With Remove ad tracking permissions and the new Disable analytics manifest changes in, Pinterest launched to the signed-in feed without a crash, and the installed app no longer held the ad ID or ad services permissions.
v0.0.4
HushPinterest 0.0.4 has 20 patches for Pinterest 14.38.0, and Pinterest 14.25.0 still patches the same way for phones on Android 9. It's built on Morphe patcher 1.15.1, so it needs Morphe Manager 1.34.0 or newer. New this time are Hide save toasts, Original-quality images, a Hide Search button switch, Copy media link, Set as wallpaper in Download history and a Hide advertising ID patch that's selected by default.
What's new
- New Hide save toasts patch. Saving a pin no longer pops up "Saved to" your board or the suggestion to follow the pin's creator, and the pin still saves as usual. Pick the patch in Morphe Manager, then turn on its switch on the Interface page. Turning it off or pausing HushPinterest brings the pop-ups back.
- New optional Original-quality images patch. With its switch on, Pinterest's image model hands back the original image ahead of the large size wherever Pinterest supplied one. It uses more data, so the switch starts off.
- Hide navigation buttons has a third switch, Hide Search button, beside Create and Notifications. It starts off. Home and Profile always stay in the bottom bar.
- Hide navigation buttons keeps a hidden tab hidden when Pinterest rebuilds it, such as Search after you close a pin.
- With Download pins on, the pin menu has a Copy media link row under Download pin. It copies the address of the same original image or MP4 the download would save, read from the pin when you tap it, and it's only offered when Pinterest supplied one.
- Download history offers Set as wallpaper for a finished image download on Android 10 and newer. It opens Android's own Set as options for the saved file, and HushPinterest needs no wallpaper permission.
- Choose up to 32 visible pins from a grid menu. Each selection uses Pinterest's supplied media, reports its queue or save result and appears in Download history. Android 9 opens one save picker at a time. Stopping leaves downloads already started alone.
- Hide ads now also keeps Google's mobile ads SDK from starting when Pinterest opens. Pinterest only starts it for accounts in its Google ads test, and with the SDK idle no Google ad is requested or shown. Turning Hide ads off or pausing HushPinterest lets it start again on the next launch.
- New Hide advertising ID patch, on by default. Pinterest and the ad and analytics code bundled in it read an all-zero ad ID with ad tracking limited, the answer Android gives after you delete your ad ID. Its switch is on the Privacy page, and turning it off or pausing HushPinterest hands back the real ID.
- Disable analytics now also stops Bugsnag crash and session reports, and it keeps Pinterest from publishing recommendations to Google Engage (the Collections and similar Google surfaces). Engage gets the same "service not found" answer as a phone without it. The switch and Pause bring both back.
- Profile header and About website buttons can now open the Android browser chooser. Pinterest, account and sign-in links keep their native path, as do all links while the switch is off or HushPinterest is paused.
- System share sheet looks up how Pinterest closes its share sheet in each supported build, including 14.25.0 for Android 9, so the Share button at the top of a pin uses that build's own close step after handing the link to Android.
- HushPinterest now builds on Morphe patcher 1.15.1, so it needs Morphe Manager 1.34.0 or newer. Manager 1.33.0 carries patcher 1.15.0 and asks for an update before it'll load the bundle.
- Pin-menu reports count recognized optional rows and their visibility decisions without collecting row text or recording unknown entries.
- Reports now show local push readiness, including notification permission, delegation and messaging component state. They keep live delivery unverified and omit private component names and unknown delegate packages.
Tooling
- A hook can no longer borrow a register that its own call still reads, and the patch checks refuse a hook call that passes one register twice unless Pinterest's own call already did.
- The source census is refreshed for 2026-10-05. It records oyasumi's newer Pinterest patches, six more forks, two false matches and the five indexes that now list HushPinterest. Still no outside Pinterest code is adopted.
- The release receipt runs the resource table and injected code checks on every fixture it patches, the same ones as the patch verification script, including every class and member the injected code calls. Any finding stops the receipt.
- The fixture checks run on desktop CLI 1.18.1, which carries patcher 1.15.1. The patcher's new ARSCLib commit is pinned in the dependency verification metadata, with hashes matched against fresh downloads.
- Invalid object and wide-register copies stay unknown during disabled-path checks. Initialized values retain their type when loops merge, so valid copies keep their identity without inventing equality between unrelated values.
- Disabled-path checks now follow copied object references and long/double register pairs, including overlapping moves, null aliases and NaN comparisons.
- First installs now handle Android's empty package-path response safely by confirming that the package is absent. Existing signer and downgrade checks still apply.
- The script contract tests run to the end under Windows PowerShell 5.1 as well as PowerShell 7.
Update from 0.0.3
- Update Morphe Manager to 1.34.0 or newer. Older versions carry patcher 1.15.0 and ask for an update before they'll load this bundle.
- Morphe Manager offers 0.0.4 from the HushPinterest patch source. Patch the same Pinterest build you have now and install it over your current Pinterest. Your sign-in and switches stay, as long as Morphe Manager signs it with the same key as before.
- Hide advertising ID is new and selected by default. Hide save toasts and Original-quality images are new and start unselected, so pick them in Morphe Manager if you want them, then turn on their switches in HushPinterest settings.
On Android 9, use Pinterest 14.25.0, version code 14258020.

Validation
All 156 patch tests and 670 extension tests passed on this commit, none skipped. The bundle attached here was patched onto real Pinterest 14.38.0 and 14.25.0 APKs with Morphe's desktop patcher, and all 20 patches applied to both without forcing. release-receipt-0.0.4.json records each of those results, the APK hashes and what patching changed in the app's manifest.
On a signed-in Android 16 phone running patched 14.38.0, an update signed with the same key installed over the existing patched app and kept its sign-in and switches. Hide save toasts took away the "Saved to" and follow pop-ups when a pin was saved, and they came back with the switch off. With Hide ads on, Google's ad SDK stayed idle when Pinterest opened, and it started again once Hide ads was off. Copy media link copied a video pin's MP4 address. Hide Search button kept Search out of the bottom bar after closing a pin, opening Saved and going back Home, and turning the switch off brought Search back. On a second Android 16 phone, choosing two of four visible pins from a grid menu queued the video and reported the pin that had nothing to download, and both stayed in Download history after a restart.
v0.0.3
The first release, with 17 patches for Pinterest 14.38.0. Pinterest 14.25.0 patches the same way for phones on Android 9. Hide ads, Disable analytics and Strip link tracking are selected by default along with the settings, and everything else starts off until you pick it.
What's new
- Hide ads removes promoted pins from the home feed, search, related pins and boards before Pinterest draws them, so they don't leave a gap. The four panels Pinterest only builds for an ad stay folded away too.
- Hide AI-labeled pins is an optional Feed switch. It takes out the pins Pinterest itself labels as made or changed with AI, using the same label Pinterest shows on the pin.
- Hide shopping and product pins is an optional Feed switch for shoppable pins, shopping stories and featured board placements. It reads both of the ways Pinterest marks them.
- Disable analytics stops Pinterest's usage-event and performance uploads and AppsFlyer tracking while sign-in, the feed and pins keep loading. Its switch and Pause bring those uploads back, and Firebase Analytics is turned off when you patch.
- Strip link tracking takes known tracking parameters off links you copy or share. The destination, signed parameters and pin.it short links stay as they are.
- Download pins adds Download pin to the pin menu for original images and the highest-resolution MP4 Pinterest supplies. Android 10 and newer save in Downloads, and Android 9 asks where to save.
- Download history shows each download's current status, even after Pinterest restarts, with Retry or a way back to the pin. Removing an entry keeps the file.
- On Android 9, Pending saves explains what to check if a save was interrupted. Saves there have a five-minute and 256 MiB limit, and a file that might have finished is kept.
- Pin actions show a pin's media size and type when Pinterest supplies them, and explain why a pin has nothing to download.
- Open links in your browser sends a pin's Visit link to your browser, and System share sheet uses Android's share sheet, including from the Share button at the top of a pin. Both start off.
- Interface has new optional switches for the screenshot share menu, recent searches, comments, the Create and Updates buttons, header icon buttons and the collage, visual search and Promote pin menu entries. They all start off.
- Quiet email reminders and Disable update nag give the confirm-your-email reminder and the in-app Play Store update prompt their own switches. The update prompt switch is for 14.38.0.
- HushPinterest settings opens from a long-press on Pinterest's icon or from Pinterest's App info page, with a switch for every patch, Pause, diagnostics and a settings backup. It's in German, Spanish, Indonesian, Brazilian Portuguese and Turkish as well as English.
- Settings search finds controls by their common names in every supported language, and each Interface summary says what it changes and when.
- Import settings shows each switch's old and new value before applying a file, and Undo puts your previous switches back once. If an import can't finish, your switches stay as they were. Exports and imports keep all 19 feature choices.
- About has an optional setup guide covering patch choices, settings backup and your signing key, with links to Pinterest's password and data-export help. It walks you through setting a Pinterest password if you joined through Google.
- The Supported links button opens Android's link settings, so pinterest.com and pin.it links can open in the patched app.
- If a settings page can't load, Retry tries again and Back returns to Pinterest.
- Diagnostic reports say where they were saved, and Copy quick report is there when storage isn't. Links, IDs and sign-in secrets are taken out.
- Updates checks every Pinterest version a release supports, including the Android 9 build, and links to the release notes and install steps. It never downloads anything by itself.
- Pinterest 14.38.0 is the target, and 14.25.0 stays supported for Android 9. Every patch was checked against both builds.
Tooling
- The bundle is built with Morphe patcher 1.15.0, so it needs Morphe Manager 1.33.0 or newer.
- The project starts from HushTelegram's build, shared extension library and release checks. Every file carried over names HushTelegram in its header and in provenance.json.
- Release checksums are signed with the HushPinterest release key, FCE5ECE3182A647B3AF2C5ED2DC35E8D5C00E8A6, and scripts/verify-release-checksums.ps1 checks a download offline.
- Before a patched APK is delivered, the checks hold its manifest to the selected patches and require every feature hook, fallback path and inserted call to resolve.
- Device helpers take an exclusive device lease, verify the device and both signing keys, and update in place without removing apps or clearing data. Concurrent builds keep separate outputs.
- Commons Lang, HttpClient and Guava resolve to reviewed versions, checksums are strict and the advisory gate refuses vulnerable resolutions.
- Gradle runs at low priority with two workers and a bounded heap so the desktop stays responsive.
- The source ledger records every other Pinterest patch project reviewed, at pinned commits. None of their Pinterest code was adopted.
- A crimson Hush emblem with a push pin and a matching dark README hero bring Pinterest into the Hush family.

All 146 patch tests and 640 extension tests passed on this commit, none skipped. The bundle attached here was patched onto real Pinterest 14.38.0 and 14.25.0 APKs with Morphe's desktop patcher, and all 17 patches applied to both without forcing. release-receipt-0.0.3.json records each of those results, the APK hashes and what patching changed in the app's manifest.
On a signed-in Android 16 phone running patched 14.38.0, promoted pins were gone from the home feed, search, related pins and board grids, and the feed kept scrolling normally. With Disable analytics on, Pinterest's tracking host and AppsFlyer stopped showing up in the phone's traffic while sign-in, the feed and pins kept loading. Pin downloads, sharing, browser links, settings import with Undo, Supported links and the setup guide were all tried on that phone as well. An update signed with the same key installed over the existing patched app.
