Summary

jgfs_tracker.ecf is listed in the v17 ECF script manifest but does not exist on disk in the current dev/gfs.v17 worktree. This script traditionally runs the GFDL Vortex Tracker to identify and track tropical cyclone positions from GFS forecast output. It may have been removed, renamed, or is planned for a future commit.

• The script was expected at ecf/scripts/gfs/verf/atmos/jgfs_tracker.ecf.
• Only jgfs_vminmon.ecf exists in the gfs/verf/atmos/ directory.
