Volcano Hammer
The Volcano Hammer is the first weapon released in Fox's Weapons.

A heavy volcanic melee weapon built around slow attacks, fire, lava particles, and its Volcano Smash ability.

Right-click the top of a block with the Volcano Hammer to activate Volcano Smash.
The ability creates a 3×3 ring of fire around the clicked position:

The smash:
- Creates up to 8 fire blocks
- Keeps the center clear
- Uses normal Minecraft fire-placement rules
- Can replace things such as tall grass and flowers when necessary
- Produces lava, flame, and heavy smoke particles
- Plays a heavy mace-smash sound
- Has a 6-second cooldown
- Costs 3 durability
If no valid fire positions are available, the ability does not consume durability or activate its cooldown.
Holding the Volcano Hammer in either your main hand or off hand grants Fire Resistance.
The effect is constantly refreshed while the hammer is held and disappears shortly after putting it away.
Simply having the hammer somewhere in your inventory does not activate the effect.
While held, the Volcano Hammer constantly drips lava particles near the hand carrying it.
A normal dripping-lava particle appears roughly every 6 ticks, with an occasional brighter lava particle.

Crafting the recipe produces 1 Volcano Hammer.
The Volcano Hammer uses:
- A custom 3D model
- A custom texture
- A custom heavy player swing animation
- Lava particles while held
- Lava, flame, and heavy smoke effects during Volcano Smash
The weapon is intentionally designed to feel much heavier than a normal Minecraft sword.
