Notifications
Applies to 2026.10.19, which adds optional video titles to new-media notifications. Delivery uses the existing Apprise integration; the title option is off by default.
- Open Settings > Notifications.
- Enter your provider's Apprise-compatible notification URL in Apprise Server. Use the URL format required by that provider; this field is not necessarily an HTTP address for an Apprise daemon.
- Use the adjacent Send Test button and check the destination for the test message.
- Save Settings so the notification configuration persists.
The test sends a generic test message. It does not perform indexing or demonstrate a real new-media title notification. Treat the destination URL as a secret when it contains a webhook/token, and keep it out of screenshots and shared logs.
- Enable Include video titles under Notification Settings.
- Save Settings.
- Check a notification generated by subsequent source indexing.
The option applies to existing new-media notifications from regular and fast indexing, including Gotify and other Apprise providers. It preserves their notification timing, frequency, subject and optional source link.
At most 10 titles, newest first, are included. Extra items are represented by a count. Long titles are shortened, and a missing title falls back to the media ID. Notifications containing titles are bounded to 1,024 characters, so a large or long-title batch will not include every full title.
If you want notification links back to the application, review External Base URL in the same group. Use the address recipients can actually reach, including a deployment prefix if applicable. This address is also used by the sharing bookmarklet.
If the test fails, check the provider URL, credentials, outbound connectivity and provider response in Diagnostics/logs. If the test succeeds but a new-media notification has no titles, confirm that the option was saved and that a subsequent indexing event found new eligible media. Already sent messages are not rewritten.
