Privacy and Data

DeskBox does not require an account or cloud synchronization. Widget configuration, todos, notes, search history, layouts, and managed files are stored locally on your PC. The application itself runs entirely on your machine.
Only these actions intentionally touch the network:

Nothing else sends data off the device.
Cloud backup targets your own WebDAV server (Nextcloud, 坚果云, and compatible services). The server address, account, and password are yours; the password is stored in Windows Credential Manager, each data domain (todos, quick capture, widget style) toggles independently, and remote snapshots are listed for browsing and restore. DeskBox operates no cloud service of its own.
The in-app feedback flow can attach a diagnostics package: a sanitized, tail-only application log plus environment information. It does not contain your full settings file or the contents of your files.
Capsule privacy mode hides selected text while a widget is collapsed. It is a presentation control, not file encryption.
Uninstallation offers an explicit keep-or-remove-data choice. User files inside the managed storage path are always preserved; see Download and Install.
DeskBox 不需要账号，也不强制云同步。格子配置、待办、随记、搜索历史、布局和托管文件都保存在你自己的电脑上，应用本身完全在本地运行。
只有以下操作会主动使用网络：

除此之外没有任何数据离开设备。
云备份的目标是你自己的 WebDAV 服务器（Nextcloud、坚果云等兼容服务）。服务器地址、账号和密码都由你掌握：密码保存在 Windows 凭据管理器，待办、随记、格子样式三个数据域独立开关，远端快照可浏览、可还原。DeskBox 本身不运营任何云服务。
应用内反馈可以附带诊断包：仅含脱敏后的日志尾部和环境信息，不包含完整的设置文件，也不包含你的文件内容。
胶囊隐私模式在格子收起时隐藏选定的文字内容。它是展示层的控制手段，不是文件加密。
卸载时会明确提供保留或删除数据的选择；托管存储路径中的用户文件始终保留，详见下载与安装。
