Map Debugging Commands

RAYHAN FATHURRAHMAN ZATA AMANI edited this page Oct 19, 2026 · 1 revision

Debugging Commands

These commands help developers inspect maps, reach specific rooms, and test gameplay without playing through the entire level. They are intended for debugging, not normal gameplay.

The commands run through the game's Debug Terminal. During gameplay, press F1 to open the terminal, type a command, and press Enter. Press F1 again to close it.

Commands

Command Purpose
tp <destination> Teleport to a named level or side room.
noclip on / noclip off Enable or disable movement through terrain and other collisions.
godmode on / godmode off Enable or disable player damage immunity.
stamina on / stamina off Enable or disable unlimited stamina.
where Show the player's current room, map, sublevel, and tile coordinates.
horde <count> Spawn nearby skeletons for combat testing.

Teleport (tp)

Use tp <destination> to jump to a specific location. This is useful for checking a map or reproducing a bug without travelling there manually.

Destination Example command
Level 1 Dungeon tp lvl1dungeon
Level 1 Nether tp lvl1nether
Hounds Den tp HoundsDen
Gorgon Gallery tp GorgonGallery
Minotaur Labyrinth tp MinotaurLabyrinth
Shades Barracks tp ShadesBarracks
Level 2 tp lvl2
Outer Guard tp OuterGuard
Thunder Hall tp ThunderHall
Cyclops Forge tp CyclopsForge
Centaur Pavilion tp CentaurPavilion
Level 3 tp lvl3

Destination names must be entered exactly as shown, including capital letters. Teleporting preserves the current player rather than creating a new one. A debug teleport does not change the normal death checkpoint: dying still returns the player to the start of Level 1.

Noclip (noclip)

noclip on lets the player pass through terrain and other collisions and disables gravity. While noclip is on, use W to fly up, S to fly down, and A/D to move left and right. This is useful for exploring map layouts and checking areas that are difficult to reach normally.

Use noclip off to restore normal collision, gravity, and movement controls.

God mode (godmode)

godmode on restores the player's health to full and prevents their health from decreasing. This is useful when testing hazards, enemies, or distant map areas without repeatedly dying.

Use godmode off to return to normal damage behaviour.

Unlimited stamina (stamina)

stamina on fills the stamina bar and prevents stamina from being consumed. This includes stamina used by movement abilities such as dashing and double jumping.

Use stamina off to return to normal stamina consumption and regeneration.

Current location (where)

Enter where with no arguments. The terminal briefly displays:

  • The current room name
  • The current map file
  • The current sublevel, if any
  • The player's tile coordinates as (x, y)

This is useful when reporting a map bug or checking where a teleport placed the player.

Spawn a horde (horde)

Use horde <count> to spawn skeletons on nearby walkable ground. The count must be between 1 and 20. For example, horde 5 attempts to spawn five skeletons near the player.

The command looks for suitable ground with space for each skeleton. If there is not enough nearby space, it reports that it cannot spawn the requested horde. This command is useful for testing combat, player abilities, and enemy behaviour in a particular room.
