Warning

Superseded by v1.2.0. Do not use this build for a new installation or update. Releases before v1.2.0 contain the retired Windows update-launch path, which can report a launch without starting the updater. Install v1.2.0 once from Quick Start or Releases; existing configuration is preserved and Codex is not restarted. This page remains available only as project history.

QuotaPin 1.1.0

QuotaPin 1.1.0 promotes the accepted account-row and settings refinements to the stable channel.

  • Windows: run QuotaPin-1.1.0.exe for guided per-user setup.
  • macOS: open QuotaPin-macOS-1.1.0.dmg, then double-click QuotaPin Installer. The universal image contains native Apple silicon and Intel builds.
  • Optional account-row modes: switch Customize → Account row mode between Legacy and Beta. Beta hides the native Help button and gives short/hold gestures the full footer; returning to Legacy restores the native control and geometry.
  • Stable interaction: short press opens only the Codex menu, a 480 ms hold opens only QuotaPin, and ambiguous Codex chrome fails closed instead of intercepting an uncertain control.
  • Smoother resizing: sidebar changes use position-only animation frames, ignore unrelated task output, and keep countdown updates on a narrow render path.
  • Clearer settings: Quick now identifies visible modules, global account-row controls are separated from the current view, inactive alert dependencies are explicit, and the update dialog has a clear title and close path.
  • Verified Windows identity: stable and prerelease SemVer now map consistently to Windows file-version metadata across publication, first install, command updates, and tray updates.
  • No forced Codex restart: installation and updates keep an active Codex session open. If safe attachment is unavailable, QuotaPin waits for the next normal launch.
  • Configuration preserved: guided setup, repair, and update keep existing views and preferences.

Windows requires x64 Windows 10 version 2004 or later; Windows 11 is verified and Windows 10 remains best effort. Windows ARM64 is not supported. The macOS package is ad-hoc signed and CI-validated; signed-in real-device and Gatekeeper acceptance remains provisional.
