Warning

Superseded by v1.2.0. Do not use this build for a new installation or update. Releases before v1.2.0 contain the retired Windows update-launch path, which can report a launch without starting the updater. Install v1.2.0 once from Quick Start or Releases; existing configuration is preserved and Codex is not restarted. This page remains available only as project history.

QuotaPin 1.1.1

QuotaPin 1.1.1 makes long-running quota delivery and user-approved updates recover cleanly without restarting Codex.

  • Live quota recovery: a disconnected CDP socket is replaced even when Codex keeps the same target id, and an unresponsive App Server child is retired instead of leaving an old percentage on screen.
  • One update path: the panel and Windows tray now use the same resumable, identity-verifying update transaction instead of maintaining separate downloaders.
  • Installation mode preserved: updates retain the existing quiet watcher or guided tray setup rather than silently converting one into the other.
  • Visible progress: the editor exposes an update entry, manual refresh, last verified check, and preparation, download, verification, installation, and reconnection phases.
  • Better network recovery: successful release checks are cached for six hours; temporary failures keep the last verified result and retry with bounded backoff beginning after 15 minutes.
  • No forced Codex restart: the updater reattaches only to the exact verified running session. If that proof is unavailable, the new version waits for the next normal Codex launch.
  • Configuration preserved: repair and update keep saved views, layout, language, appearance, and launch preference.

Windows requires x64 Windows 10 version 2004 or later; Windows 11 is verified and Windows 10 remains best effort. Windows ARM64 is not supported. The macOS package is ad-hoc signed and CI-validated; signed-in real-device and Gatekeeper acceptance remains provisional.
