Warning

Superseded by v1.2.0. Do not use this build for a new installation or update. Releases before v1.2.0 contain the retired Windows update-launch path, which can report a launch without starting the updater. Install v1.2.0 once from Quick Start or Releases; existing configuration is preserved and Codex is not restarted. This page remains available only as project history.

QuotaPin 1.1.2

QuotaPin 1.1.2 keeps long-running quota honest and adds a true full-width account-row quota line.

  • Durable live recovery: Windows tray, Windows quiet watcher, and the macOS watcher can resume an exited Agent against the same verified Codex session with bounded backoff—without reopening or restarting Codex.
  • No frozen percentage: the renderer receives a lightweight heartbeat. If delivery disappears, the old value is replaced by an unavailable state instead of remaining on screen as if it were current.
  • App Server self-healing: repeated read or initialization timeouts retire the dead child and continue bounded recovery rather than exhausting a permanent retry budget.
  • Two quota-line widths: Quick can keep the line under the visible quota modules or stretch it across the usable account row. Legacy stops before Codex Help; Beta uses the complete expanded row.
  • Update supervision preserved: a command-mode hot update republishes exact watcher ownership for the resumed Agent. Guided installs remain tray-owned, and saved settings stay intact.
  • Smaller macOS delivery: launcher and Agent now share one universal self-contained host instead of packaging two complete runtimes. Upgrades stop only the exact previous Agent before the atomic swap.
  • Bounded remote documents: update metadata and loopback CDP target lists are byte-limited and strictly decoded before JSON parsing.
  • No forced Codex restart: updates reconnect only to the exact verified running process. If verification fails, the new version waits for the next normal launch.

Windows requires x64 Windows 10 version 2004 or later; Windows 11 is verified and Windows 10 remains best effort. Windows ARM64 is not supported. The macOS package is ad-hoc signed and CI-validated; signed-in real-device and Gatekeeper acceptance remains provisional.
