Prebuilt Release zips. Download, unzip, run, without building from source. Until then, see Install.

A first-run setup window. One screen before Clayo opens that finds Claude Code and Codex (on your PATH and in the usual install folders), says whether each is installed and signed in, and offers Install, Sign in or Locate…, plus Start at login and adding clayo to your PATH. It is being built on a branch.

Codex support. Codex sessions in the sidebar next to Claude Code ones, with new, resume and branch, and a status strip, like Claude Code sessions. The Agents page in Settings, shown as "Later" today, is where you'll choose which agents Clayo can start.

Island settings. The Island page in Settings, shown as "Later" today: "Where it sits, what it announces, how long notices stay."

Ideas still on the list

• Remote Control. Start every pane with --remote-control "<name>", so you can continue a session from claude.ai/code or the Claude app while your PC stays on.
• Exact events from Claude Code hooks. Today the needs-you and finished states are read from the terminal output (see Sessions and Branching). Hooks would report them exactly.

Parked

These exist only as design prototypes. They don't work in Clayo, and may never ship as drawn.

• Island chat. Dropping a file on the island to chat about it in the island itself, instead of opening a session. Today a drop opens a full session (see The Island).
• Allow and Deny from the island. Answering a permission prompt without opening Clayo. It depends on the hooks above.
• A composer in the island. Typing a prompt into the island.
