Borealis 1.0.1 is a small update: Aurora index files now install, the app tells you when a new version is out, and it keeps local log files to help track down problems.

Installing 1.0.1 over 1.0.0 keeps your characters, content and settings. The first-launch steps from 1.0.0 still apply.
What's new in 1.0.1
- Aurora index files install. Adding an Aurora
.indexfile under Additional content > Index files now downloads its content, including nested index files. A GitHub page link (github.com/.../blob/...) works too; it is turned into the raw file address for you. Adding an index starts its first download right away. - Clear failure messages. If an index cannot be downloaded, Borealis says which one and why (for example, that an address is a web page, not an index file). It no longer reports "up to date" when something failed.
- New-version notice. At startup Borealis asks GitHub for the latest version number and shows a small bar when a newer one is available, with a Download button that opens the download page in your browser. Nothing about you or your characters is sent. Turn it off with Borealis Settings > General > Check for new versions of Borealis; Check now in the same place checks by hand.
- Local log files. Borealis now keeps daily log files of what it did (start-up, index updates, imports, errors) so problems can be tracked down. They stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. They hold no character, notes or source content, and your home folder is shortened to
~. The newest five days are kept. Find them with Application Settings > Data files > Open logs folder (on phones, Share logs).
