SimForge 0.1.2 — Conversational Demo Edition

This release focuses SimForge's proven robotics-authoring workflow into a judge-friendly
conversation: Plan → Build → Export → Simulate.

Highlights

  • Start with a clean chat and blank metric Blender scene.
  • Ask for a wheeled robot with a gripper, review the plan, and explicitly approve the
    checkpointed Blender build.
  • Create a generated warehouse workcell directly in Blender with structured robot,
collision, sensor, mass, joint, and environment metadata.
  • Export a canonical modular OpenUSD package with physics layers, relative references,
hashes, reports, and 12 deterministic reopen checks.
  • Run the verified package in local Isaac Sim, retain failure evidence, approve a bounded
Blender correction, re-export, and rerun a visible 1.2 m waypoint task to a passing result.
  • Prefer a securely stored NVIDIA/Nemotron route while retaining the deterministic local
    fallback and optional OpenAI adapter.

Downloads

  • SimForge-Setup.exe: unsigned Windows installer.
  • SimForge-win32-x64-0.1.2.zip: portable SmartScreen fallback.
  • simforge_bridge-0.1.0.zip: Blender 4.5 LTS extension.
  • SimForge-Warehouse-Sample-0.1.2.zip: sanitized sample project.
  • SHA256SUMS.txt: hashes for every release asset.

Requirements and limitations

Windows 11 x64 and Blender 4.5 LTS are the supported baseline. Blender and Isaac Sim are
not bundled. NVIDIA credentials are entered in Settings and stored with Windows-protected
storage. The installer is not code-signed; use the portable ZIP if SmartScreen blocks it.
The included Isaac workflow is proven on the development machine, which remains below
NVIDIA's published RAM/VRAM minimum, so larger scenes may require stronger hardware.

See the repository README and docs/OWNER_JUDGE_TEST.md for setup and the judge procedure.

SimForge 0.1.1

SimForge is a Windows-first conversational robotics authoring workspace that keeps
Blender as scene truth and pairs every material change with plans, approvals, checkpoints,
deterministic validation, and verifiable USD or Isaac evidence.

Highlights:

  • Guided, Balanced, and Autonomous action authority with permanent human gates
  • Generated warehouse manipulator, licensed URDF path, and native-format staging
  • Revision-stamped Blender inspection and deterministic geometry/robotics findings
  • Portable modular USD export with hashes, reports, and OpenUSD reopen verification
  • Optional Isaac Sim failure, approved Blender correction, and passing rerun lineage
  • Sandboxed Electron renderer, protected credentials, narrow IPC, and no telemetry

Start with SimForge-Setup.exe. If Windows SmartScreen blocks the unsigned installer,
extract SimForge-win32-x64-0.1.1.zip and run SimForge.exe. Blender 4.5 LTS is required
and installed separately. NVIDIA NIM and Isaac Sim are optional.

See the repository README for the five-minute judge test, exact setup, limitations,
security, licensing, and uninstall instructions. Verify downloads with SHA256SUMS.txt.
