Did somebody turn this on? I didn't think this was the way GH reported dependency vulnerabilities.

This change results in compilation errors:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/fasterxml/jackson/annotation/JsonMerge

This class, referenced in the JacksonAnnotationIntrospector does not exist in the .jar
A different, more stable version of the library needs to be chosen.

I guess we should close it. I'll create a PR with all the needed changes together. Close 4109 also please.
