Codex workers publish output only when the final turn completes with valid text and consistent available framing. A shared assessment preserves recovery from intermediate errors and keeps protocol completion as a replay veto when output validation or process exit fails.

Known limits

Codex-parent testing verifies native routing. External Codex execution was exercised from Claude. Protocol failure cases remain synthetic.
