Getting Started — Starting from Scratch

This guide assumes that you are running a Ruby app, but don't have a background worker system like Delayed Job, Resque, or Sidekiq, yet.

There are some parts waiting to be filled in.

Once you are done, you will have a Resque+Redis background job system working, to which you can add a goworker using the next guide.
