- Disk usage: see how much space each worktree takes, and move its
node_modules,vendor,distand other build folders to the Trash. - ⌘K: jump to any project, worktree or branch across all your projects.
- Inspector (⌥⌘I): the selected worktree's uncommitted changes and commits, or a branch's commits, with colored diffs.
- Hand Off can rename the branch on the way, e.g.
claude/interesting-kepler-2ad29e→feat/sharing.
Changed
- The hover Open button on worktree rows is gone. Use right-click → Open In, double-click, or ⇧⌘E.
v1.2.0
What's new in 1.2
Delete several branches at once
- Branch rows now have checkboxes. Branches checked out in a worktree can't be selected.
- While branches are checked, the Branches header shows how many, with Clear and Delete Selected….
- The confirmation lists each branch with whether it's merged into trunk and whether it tracks an upstream or is local only.
- Branches are deleted one at a time with
git branch -d. Unmerged branches are skipped, never force-deleted. - A summary shows what was deleted and what was skipped, and why. Each skipped unmerged branch can still be removed with Force Delete (-D)…, which asks again first.
Command Log syntax highlighting
- Logged git commands are now colored:
gitand the subcommand in your accent color, flags in gray, and paths, refs and values in the normal text color.
v1.1.0
What's new in 1.1
- Remote branches. A remote branch that a local branch tracks now appears indented under it, with the ahead/behind counts. Remote branches no local branch tracks get their own Remote Branches section.
- Fetch. A new toolbar button (also in View → Fetch All Remotes) fetches and prunes every remote, and Cheddar shows when you last fetched.
- Delete remote branches. Cheddar only deletes one if it still points where your last fetch saw it, so commits someone pushed in the meantime are never thrown away.
- New tracking branch. Create a local branch from any remote branch in one step.
- Tags. A new collapsible Tags section lists local tags, newest first. After a Fetch, each tag shows whether it's local only, differs on the remote, or is only on the remote.
- Tag actions. Push, fetch, rename and delete tags, locally or on a remote. Renaming an annotated tag keeps its message and the commit it points at.
- Clearer network errors. When git needs a password or passphrase, Cheddar says so and explains how to fix it, instead of hanging. Network commands stop after 2 minutes.
