Local Library
The scanner imports common PCM and compressed formats including FLAC, MP3,
WAV, AIFF, M4A, and Matroska Audio (.mka), plus DSF and uncompressed DFF.
Metadata, embedded artwork, ReplayGain tags, CUE sheets, and M3U8 playlists are
supported.
Chaptered MKA files and CUE sheets are represented as independently playable virtual tracks. The shared physical source is not shown as a duplicate track when usable chapter or CUE definitions exist.
- Unchanged files are skipped.
- Configured roots are watched recursively.
- Create, change, rename, and delete events update SQLite and the search index.
- Periodic reconciliation protects against lost file-system events.
- Background changes show a refresh action instead of forcibly replacing the current view.
Artists, Albums, Tracks, and Folder structure combine local media with all configured Orynivo Servers. Source badges and source filters retain the origin of each row. Artists with equivalent normalized names are unified across local and Orynivo Server libraries.
The local SQLite database, artwork, waveform data, search index, and caches are stored beneath the platform-specific Orynivo application-data directory.
