Releasing

For maintainers. A local session publishes wiki pages; a cloud session drafts text in its PR body.

Version sites

A version bump changes all of these. tests/run.sh checks that they agree:

• plugin/.claude-plugin/plugin.json
• .claude-plugin/marketplace.json
• the v<version> pin in plugin/skills/agents-and-models/SKILL.md, codex/AGENTS.md and README.md

The wiki pages Install for Codex and CI checks also carry a v4.0.0 pin. Nothing tests them. After a bump, a local session updates them by hand.

Cut the Release

1. Merge the version-bump PR.
2. Run gh release create vX.Y.Z --generate-notes. issue-link forces Closes #N or Part of #N on every PR, so the generated list links every issue.
3. Edit the body if needed.

There is no CHANGELOG.md. Releases are the record.

Ratchet

CI fails when the repo holds a docs/ path, a CHANGELOG* file, or a *.md outside the allowlist in .github/workflows/ci.yml. Docs for people go in this wiki.
