Workflow split

Workflow: split

/agentic-sdlc:split splits 1 issue across parallel workers, each on its own part branch, then joins the parts on 1 integration branch. It opens no pull request.

Args

Arg Meaning
issue Issue number or URL. The sub-lead reads it.
branch The integration branch. Each part builds on <branch>-<part>.
base The ref the branch is cut from.
parts 2 or more parts. Each part is a name, or { name, test } with the focused test command of that part.
test The command that runs the whole-issue oracle.
rules Optional. The code rules of the repo, as text. Every agent gets them.

Phase Agent Model Work
Split developer (the sub-lead) Sonnet Writes the oracle and the stubs, commits and pushes them. Writes 1 brief per part. Gives each part a tier by oracle coverage: Haiku when the oracle covers the behavior, Sonnet when it does not, Opus when the step-up rule applies. See AGENTS-AND-MODELS.md.
Build 1 agent per part, in parallel The tier of the part (Haiku, Sonnet or Opus) Builds the part on its branch. Runs only the focused test. Pushes after every commit.
Integrate integrator Sonnet Merges the part branches, runs the whole oracle, pushes. If the oracle cannot pass, it sets an escalation.

Result

branch, status (done or escalated), sha, oracle_passed, reworked, escalation.

What stays outside

The workflow opens no PR. The PR, the CI gate and the merge to main stay with the main agent (see Agent chief-of-staff).
